A Bit Hard to Swallow, But Worth the Effort
I used the popular, more expensive brand from way back before they changed the name to its current name (more than 20 years ago). In comparing the two products, I couldn't find any significant difference that would make it worth the higher price to continue taking that brand, so I switched to Swanson's brand. I have been using Swanson's now for the past 3 or 4 years, with no discernible loss of effectiveness. My only complaint, and it's really minor, is the pills are a bit on the large size. I can swallow them without a problem, but I can see where they might cause a problem for some people. But they are easy to break in half, so it really is a minor inconvenience.

This product has worked for me for over 6 years. It is a great value compared to other marketplaces and it meets my needs.

these pills are now too big
We have been taking SW891 for about 3 years.
The pills seem helpful.
However:
They just made the pills larger. (they were R on the pill size chart; now they are S)
My wife chokes on these new pills; even when cut in half, they are just too big. We will be returning this latest order.
Swanson: if you are going to change the pill size, you need to change the item number.

Just as good a name brand!
I love Swanson Premium
Glucosamine, Chondroitin, & MSM. It works and is just as good, if not better than a name brand from the store I was using before I found Swanson's a few years ago.
Once in a while I will get too low and have to run to the store and buy this while I am waiting on an order. I think I feel better when taking this product over the store one.
I really recommend anyone to give this a try. You have nothing to loose with their satisfaction grantee.

Good for older knees
If you have problem walking up-down stairs, try them.
I use them for 6-7 years and Swanson's are the best.
Hard to swallow but they work.

Great Value
I purchase this particular product because it is hard to find a Glucosamine Sulfate & Chondroitin Sulfate product with ample amounts of each. The Sulfate type is better for you. This pill is large, be prepared! But for the value & dosage, it is worth it if you can swallow large pills.

not better
I've taken joint supplements in the past and actually experienced clear and definitive results. I am puzzled why I actually do not feel better with this particular combo, as if it isnt working. I plan to try a different Glucos and Chond. w/o the MSM. Maybe I'm just getting too old, (60).
