Real quality product
I have tried several of these oils from other co. And this is a better value with the quality being exceptional. No odor and it absorbs into your skin very well. Give it a try.

Became abig part of my beauty maintenaince
It absorbs instantly! After a week or so, my neck looks smoother and younger looking. I use for elbows, knees, hair and wherever I need. I use all types of oils but this one is my favorite. The only thing I wish they can modify is the dropper part. It is hard to deal with putting onto my hand, just dripping out if you are not careful.
Other than that, it's a excellent value and amazing result.

Love it
I love this oil, for the first time I have long, strong nails. Every night I put it on my nails just before I get in bed. It soaks in fast and is not a mess. I use it on my face also. I will not be with out this.

Therapy For Your Hair!
I have used other Argan Oils before, and this one is the best by far! It lasts forever, and is soooo good for my aged HAIR!! I will ALWAYS have it in my hair TOOL KIT!

Skin and hair's best friend
Have been using argan oil for awhile now and love it. Swanson's argan oil is a good quality and one can't beat the price compared to what's out in the market. For those who want to improve the smell of the argan oil, simply add a couple drops or more of lavender and/or rose essential oil. Lavender is great addition to one's skin and hair. If one is skeptical, check out essential oil. You can add a little combination in another container just to make sure the scent is compatible to you.

Soft and Smooth
I use 1-3 drops of Swanson's Argan Oil mixed in with a small amount of CeraVe cream; putting this on my face, neck... at night (after bath). I was afraid of it making my face break out, but I seem to have needed the extra moisture and really my face seems clearer, softer and smoother.

Great product
I have been using Argan oil for several months. I love this product. I use it on my face at night and it is greasy right when I put it on but it soaks in to my skin very quickly and leaves my skin very soft. I read several other reviews and several complained about the smell but mine does not smell bad. I wonder if different batches smell stronger?? I will continue to use this - I think it's a great facial moisturizer.

Great Results.
Great results. I use it on my skin and hair. I use this weekly to take a break from my main hair and skin products so this gets used about once a week on skin and a bit more on the my hair. Yes, it does have Argan smell. It dissipates fast enough so I don't walk around smelling weird.

SMELL LIKE A WET GOAT!
Beauty is not worth the stench. All the Swanson products purchased in the past have been good to great, this time 2 beauty products were not worth the postage. Having read the reviews very carefully for the argan oil, the bottle I purchased has such a stench I had to throw my pillow case out. I have been using argan oil on my hair over 2 years and buying it from a different source for $30 for 3.2 ounces. Since Swanson's was close in price, I decided to try it. My original source has a very light, pleasant floral fragrance. When I opened the Swanson argan oil, it had a very strong goat smell. After putting a few drops on my hair ends, I went to bed. The odor did not dissipate after 5 minutes; it was just as strong when I woke up the next morning. My husband thought one of the dogs had gotten sick; we both searched the bedroom only to determine the stench was coming from my pillow and hair. After washing my hair, it took perfume to cover the odor and the pillow case had to be thrown out, the smell stayed through the laundry. I, also, did research on argan oil and found that it's being tainted by the scent glands of male goats not their feces. By definition, their is no stronger smell than the scent glands of a male animal.
Having had food chemistry, I attempted to cover the scent with essential oils. Using food grade oils so it could be used on skin and hair. Lemon oil was not strong enough; coffee beans and cinnamon sticks did not work. Nor did the mixture of the 3, the stench prevailed. Clove oil worked the best, but it still has an underlying odor. Needless to say the argan oil is being returned and would suggest Swanson improve it's quality control on this item.

A little goes a long way
This oil is fantastic. When used sparringly it quickly absorbs and leaves my face silky smooth without grease. I've even used it on the ends of my hair with fantastic results. When purchased on sale it's practically a steal as the bottle lasts for months.

does smell
Oil absorbs quickly and skin seems softer and hydrated. However, it does have a very unpleasant odor. And I love the smell of skunks! Going to try mixing it with organic almond oil and see if that helps. BTW- as another reveiw said, this oil does not come from goat dung!

Highly Recommend

Love these products.
I didn't notice a bad smell like another reviewer did. But what I did notice is how well it soaks into my skin. I use it on my face at night. I tried it on my hair once but with the other Argan oil products I don't use it that way anymore.

Pros and Cons
This product is a great value! It is also just as effective as the high-priced department store brand I had been using prior. This oil is actually a little more viscous than the department store brand. I found that a good thing.
And yet I didn't use it more than a handful of times. I couldn't get past the scent. I was actually alarmed enough by it to try to find out the cause. Turns out, it was goats.
Have you seen the pictures of goats in argan trees in Morocco? They're kind of amazing. And if they're part of the harvesting process for the argan nuts used to make the oil you buy, they may give you flashbacks to 4H exhibits at the county fair while you're moisturizing your face or hair.
To be fair, this oil is an exceptional value and its efficacy is not in the least effected by this method of collection. The scent, while strong in the batch that filled my bottle (thanks to the magnificent customer service at Swanson, I learned that the scent isn't always so pungent) did dissipate within about five minutes of application.
There are some companies that do not use goats for collecting the nuts, but the more labor-intensive processing is reflected in the price. In contacting some other argan oil suppliers, it seems if you're paying less than $30 for a 2 oz bottle, you're gambling with the possibility you're going to get a bottle of goaty argan oil. (Unless the company is explicitly aware of their sourcing [many aren't] and/or they're utilizing nuts from the UNESCO biosphere in Morocco, where goats are not allowed because they strip the trees, it's a chance you're taking - it's a gamble from bottle to bottle, from what I've gathered.)
Basically, if you can get past the hang up about goat droppings being a part of the process, and if you can hang in there for five minutes of barnyard aroma, should you happen to have a robustly scented bottle, you can save yourself $15 to $30!
Also, the customer service at Swanson is so very excellent. If you're feeling like taking a chance, they will make it easy, even if, like me, you find your resolve isn't steely enough.

Best product I've ever used
I use Argan oil from head to toe. Adds shine to my hair, as well as moisture. I have oily skin, yet it works great without adding greasiness. Added to my body lotion, it adds smoothness and lasting feeling. My eyelashes curl into a tight circle, brushing on Argan oil twice a day helps uncurl them. This is the best source of Argan oil I have tried. I am sticking with it. It's also the least expensive way to add Argan oil to my daily grooming.

Fountain of Youth Oil
I had seen Argon oil used in many products lately, so I started reading what it was used for. I decided to buy it for facial care and use it to cleanse my face. I dampen my face, apply a very small amount of oil and massge it in. Then I apply a hot cloth to my face, letting it steam a couple of times to allow the oil to soak in. I follow with toner, Swanson's DMAE serum, and moisturizer. It removes makeup and the day and my face has never felt softer. I love this stuff!!
