Vague, imprecise and unprofessional label
I like the idea of beta sitosterol in a veggie cap and have used other competitive products for years - where I knew what was in them. I would use this product if the label detailed and guaranteed amounts of the three main active plant phytosterols (beta sitosterol, campesterol, and stigmasterol) that compose most beta sitosterol plant extracts. Not detailing them implies that either the Swanson/mfg. doesn't know or that product is constantly changing in it's make up and Swanson/the mfg. isn't able to guarantee content or quality. Does not show well for Swanson.

I really couldn't tell of any improvement over just using saw palmetto & pygeum! There may have
been some improvement, but I couldn't tell!!

Cholesterol and Prostate
In my opinion this is second only to Omega 3 in its overall health benefits. Specifically, if you are concerned about Cholesterol and Prostate health you should consider adding this to your daily regiment.

A better Alternative to Saw Palmetto
Men have been taking Saw Palmetto for years as a prostate health herb. But the active ingredient in that herb is Beta Sitosterol, so if you do the research you will find that this is a much more effective herb to keep your prostate healthy, and everyone should know what that means when you are over the age of 50 yrs! It definitely works for me.

A good value!
This is very helpful as a therapeutic aid to overall health, especially men's health. It can be used as an alternative to saw palmetto, nettle and pygeum, or it can be used in conjunction with the aforementioned products as an additional enhancement.

I Like This Product

Great supplrement
Don't write many reviews, actually I think this is a first. Not often do you take a supplement that you can actually tell a difference with and I have took many. They talk about the cardio and maybe this helps but they don't mention the prostate. This is one supplement that I have took that has made a noticable difference. Hopefully this helps another man like it did me.

Seems to be different than prior formulas used. C
Appears to exhibit strange smell. May have caused some digestive upset.
I am trying to determine if due to this product or a different Multiple I also tried with my recent order.
