Both my husband and i have been taking propolis to help immune system. nobody can beat the value and price of swanson's. and we love the strong smell when we open the bottle because it makes us feel that we are taking the genuine propolis.

Bee Propolis
I take Bee Propolis with Bee Pollen and it provides me enough energy to do my extremely labor-intensive job (Dog Grooming). I would recommend this product to anyone that needs energy, strength and stamina (if you are not allergic to bee stings).

Potent boost of vitamins
This product may smell a little strong, but it packs a great punch of vitamins and minerals. Bee products in general are full of nutrients and that is why they are such a good food/supplement to take!

By accident, I order 4 of these. I took one per day. When I got to the last two, they were rancid. They smelled very strong of rancidity. I don't know why this would happen but I don't want any more

Smelly!
Mentioning the smell is not a detraction -- it's not as though it will bother you to swallow. The smell tells me something, however: this product is fresh, potent, and pure.
Bee propolis is smelly stuff -- that's just in the nature of the product.
When I say "smelly," I *don't* mean that it'll make *you* smell, like swallowing Fenugreek or Garlic Oil. What I mean is, take the cap off and get a whiff -- whew!
But it doesn't make you smell -- you don't sweat it out of your pores like garlic or onions, so dont worry about that!
As with all of the "bee" products I've purchased from Swanson, the fact that they smell a bit, even as compared with some other suppliers, speaks to the freshness and potency of this product.
