Best Pumpkin seed
I tried the pumpkin seed at the Supermarket but did not like it that much, so I decided to purchase the Organic one from Swanson. My husband much prefer this one from Swanson. This pumpkin seed taste great plus it is organic.

Repeat purchase
The quality of the Swanson Organic Raw Shelled Pumpkin Seeds is quite good. Even though the taste can vary from 'package' to 'package' we will continue to purchase because it is always in stock.

Good batch, anyway!
Pumpkin seeds vary from batch to batch. You can never count on them being the same no matter what brand you get. Our 1st Swanson brand bags have been terrific, though. Delicious! Better than the ones we got at our local natural food co-op. Very fresh, great flavor. I do wish the price were a bit lower.

Pumpkin Seeds
Excellent flavor and freshness! Pumpkin seeds are extremely healthy for you, and I especially like that these are organic. We put these on salads and also use them in our morning breakfast shake (and alternate days with sunflower, sesame, flax, or chia seeds): In a quart mason jar, put 2 to 4 raw organic eggs, 1 scoop protein powder, 1/4 can coconut milk, 1 tsp. psyllium husks, and 1 Tbsp. of the above seeds, then fill in with some water and use the hand blender. DELICIOUS and filling!

These are great for the money and organic! They taste pretty good and seem fresh, and are convenient to add to a mix of other nuts and dried fruit. The only complaint I would have is that since they are raw, they are a bit tough, not so crunchy, and if you use them in a recipe (I used mine in a pumpkin bread recipe) they still remain rather tough. I would recommend lightly roasting or toasting them in a skillet first, however,that would mean they are no longer raw, and I don't know if that would affect the nutritional quality. Otherwise, they are pretty good.

Good for the Price
Good product to put on salads or eat right
out of the package. A little dry and could
use just a touch of salt (maybe sea salt).

Great price on a great product
I've been incorporating pumpkin seeds in my diet as part of a general plan for prostate health, and was happy to find these on sale. Same quality as I've found in local health food stores at a much better price.
