I love this in my coffee. No it's not a starbucks mocha but it's so much healthier and cheaper and it's really good!! :)

Good quality but not an ergonomic container.
Organic product that is not Dutch processed is great. Container is for appeal, and may be helpful in that it is wider than deep for spooning out the cocoa, but lid is wide and difficult to open and close for small hands or for older hands with less ability to grip. Also, be prepared to break up clumps in the product, which is normal for this natural, unprocessed product.

Great product, best price
I have been using Swanson Cocoa for years. It is consistently high quality cocoa, great flavor and texture, great price. I make my own "Cocoa" drink, since I do not use artificial anything, using 1/2 cocoa and 1/2 pero - gives it an interesting flavor. I add stevia to taste (powdered, pure - I prefer KAL, also available through SV), and some coconut milk for creaminess (can't use milk products). Yummy! I also make a great fruit dip with coconut milk, cocoa, and stevia. It's not thick, of course, but very yummy on strawberries, apples, etc.

Cocoa heaven
Excellant tasting product. I feel great about it being organic and the price is fantastic. Use it every day in my organic coffee with some stevia. Almost like starting the day with dessert!!!

Yuck, leaves a spicy finish
I just made raw chocolate with this. This is not the first time making raw chocolate but it's the first time making it with this cocoa powder.
It leaves a very spicy finish. You can't taste it when you eat it, it's afterwards where you feel the burn in the back of the throat. Even my 8 year old noticed.
I won't buy this again.
I'm not sure where the good review is coming from! Unless I got a bad batch.

Very Good Cocoa
I love this product. I order my coconut oil, stevia, coconut, coconut flour, and cocoa from Swanson's and typcially go with their brand for the most part. This product makes the best coco delights. My own personal dail endulgence in dark chocolate candy. I use 1 cup of the coco powder, 3/4 cup of the coconut oil, 1/3 (or to taste) stevia powder, chocolate raspberry lqiuid stevia about 4 droppers, 1/3 cup coconut cream (milk) in the can. I then whip this with a blender (do sofent coconut oil first) then add optional fresh raspberries. Drop by teaspoon onto parchmaent paper to form a kiss. This will make about 40 kisses. Let set up, then keep in fridge. Enjoy a healthy treat daily you chocolate lovers.

Loved this cocoa powder but
just got a new canister, which the shape of the canister has changed but I'm afraid you've changed more than the canister. It tastes different not as chocolatey. Maybe it's just this canister??? I hope so.

good value
Tastes great and mixes fairly well with almond milk and the cost is reasonable. I wish Swanson would test this against raw cocoa so we could see the difference in Flavanol content. I've read that raw cocoa has higher amounts of antioxidants but it also has a very bitter taste. It would be nice to know the exact difference.

Great Benefits and Value!
Checking the definitions on the Internet, cocoa and cocao are pretty much the same thing, if both are raw and unprocessed. This product compares favorably, both health benefits and taste wise, with the raw cocao products sold here for more money.
I recommend buying this. Save the money and still get the same excellent nutritional benefits of this superfood as the more expensive brands labeled "raw cocao" have.

Delicious!
I mix this with raw cow's milk and 1 scoop of pure stevia extract powder (the white stuff with no fillers) to make delicious, sugar-free chocolate milk that my kids love. I also use it in baking.
