Good matcha
In my opinion, it is good matcha. I can't say I've tried a lot of kinds but the color looked fine to me, the taste was good, and nothing seemed off. I bought at B1G1 free, but I'm not sure I'd buy again at full price because the price seems high for such a litle container.

Matcha tea is usually quite expensive. This seems to be a better than average price for a tasty tea.

Superior form of green tea
I used to make special trips to an Asian grocery to buy matcha, for its superior qualities compared with ordinary green tea. I now get Swanson's organic matcha for a little more than I paid for the conventionally grown product. Green tea is an essential component of my diet and this product is excellent.

I cant live without my matcha green tea and by far swansons organic matcha green tea powder is my favorite. You get so much more for your money and the quality is the best ive tasted yet. I've gotten so many friends hooked on this stuff. I love it Iced.

Enjoying this every morning
It can be difficult to find quality matcha powder, so I was pleased to find this organic option. This tea has a nice flavor (not bitter). I have read that matcha tea is not only high in anti-oxidants, but also boosts your metabolism. I like to start each day with a cup of this deep green tea.
The little scoop that comes in the package is quite handy.
I only wish that there were sizes larger than 1.76 oz. available.

This was my first time to try Matcha Green Tea, so I didn't know what to expect. The tea has a grassy taste, with that in mind it is a good product. I was happy with price and quality.

Matcha awesome!
I like this matcha for its cost and simplicity. The tea powder is a smoothly soft green color and the little measuring scoop is convenient for fixing just the right amount per cup of tea. Simply add one spoonful and some water and stir (vigorously) until all of the matcha has dissolved and drink it up as it is that good. It has a wonderful 'umami'. I sprinkle it on my noodles when I am eating and it is good as well. I also mixed it (once) in my cup of cocoa that I had prepared and the blend made it smoother and there was none of that bitterness sometime is associated with heavy cocoa/cacao. It was really delicious.

Safe Matcha
Matcha is a traditional Japanese tea where the plant is stressed by shade before harvesting to raise survival chemicals like ECGC (see Wikipedia for benefits). Due to Fukushima, there is a lot of radioactive Caesium in the local Japanese food supply. Caesium has a half-life of about 30 years. Swanson Organic Matcha is a low-pesticide product of China and so avoids the radiation and pesticide concerns.

Expected better quality
Thought the quality would rival Mercola Matcha and it fell short. The color is a drab green while Mercola Matcha is bright emerald in color.

Disappointed with the Powder
I bought this product because of the value & Reviews. Unfortunately, it doesn't blend well with water and difficult to drink. I have to add twice the recommended water to be able to finish it. Compare to another Matcha powder I bought from a retail store. this motcha is poor...I don't recommend this one.

Wonderful Product
I truly love this organic Matcha Green Tea Powder and plan on re-ordering always. Thank you, Swanson's, for offering it. I am a coffee drinker and tried repeatedly to use green tea, as a tea or in capsules. It always made me a little sick, oddly. This is different! I enjoy it very cold as iced tea but my favorite way is to mix it in a little high-quality vanilla ice cream. Just a little. And now I can get all those super health benefits from this different and pleasant form of green tea.

Awesome to make shakes with!!
I just made my own green tea "frappucino" (or coolatta if you're a Dunkin Donuts fan...blah) using this product and it came out GREAT!! Very tasty and blends easily with cold products...will be buying more!!

Organic Matcha Green Tea
It's so easy to make. Tastes great, but different from regular green tea you buy in the stores. It has a mild likable flavor and If you're feeling gouchy, drink some and be happy..

I found this matcha to be bitter. It is definitely not ceremonial grade. I would compare this to costco matcha green tea.

Matcha latte bliss!!!
This makes the best matcha lattes. I just mix it in the blender with coconut milk, colostrum powder, vanilla stevia and ice. Oh so good!!! Great color, great size, great price!!!

Good value
I have been using another Brand of Match Tea and found it very hard to get dissolved in my water. This tea seems to dissolve much better. As far as taste and effectiveness, I mix it into my Rooibos tea because I am not especially fond of the taste of green tea. I seem to feel more of the caffeine with this brand but I am very sensitive to caffeine. It has a bright green color and I can't tell much of a difference from the other brand except for price. It seems to be a good value.

mmmm...smells good
I love to mix this with homemade soymilk and honey!!! it gives off a light hint of green tea. would recommend for people who don't like the strong taste of green tea. Since it is in powdered form, i find it very convienent to mix with other drinks. Great for green tea ice cream or green tea matcha sponge cake roll!! :P yum!

Reasonable Low-Cost Matcha
I've been drinking matcha for years and have tried the gamut from very cheap ones like this to varieties as expensive as $45 per 30 grams.
This product does not have the deep, emerald green of a 'normal' matcha. That could mean its nutrition doesn't quite match the more expensive kinds but I don't know for sure.
Its taste is also weak compared to an average to high-end matcha. It seems more like a powdered sencha to me.
But I gave it 3 stars and would recommend it because it does NOT have the sour, skunky-beer flavor that other cheap matchas I've tried do.
I like it as a low cost daily matcha that I don't have to choke down, anticipating the day the container is finally empty.
But when I want a ceremonial grade tea, I'll use another.
