This super food is very inexpensive at Swanson
I am taking about 15 grams of Swanson's Spirulina, and find that it satisfies my hunger. This is no surprise since it is a so called super-food, meaning it is over 50% protein, and has all the essencial amino acids and most of the unessencial ones.
I choose to buy Spirulina from Swanson's because a website promoting Spirulina recommend them as the best source for buying inexpensive bulk amounts. I believe Spirulina sells at Swanson for around 5 cents a gram.
I am on a CR diet, and consumer about 1200 calories a day, so Spirulina from Swanson is a very very good choice for a supplimental food source - it is about 2 calories a gram, and a great source of both protein and nutrients.
Pardon me begin so graphic, but I suggest eating enough Spirulina (especially if you are on a diet) to make your BM green.
Thank you Swanson - I will be a lifetime customer for this product. The value is tremendous, the quality is great, and I am very satisfied I've found a supplier of Spirulina for life.
BTW, I wrote a scathing review of Swanson's Veggie powder, so I'm not just writing fantastic reviews because I'm a nice guy who doesn't put down the absolute truth in print. I just call it like I see it and I'd recommend Swanson's Spirulina to everyone - it really is the best value on the web.

Swanson Spirulina
I said it before, and I'll say it again, 'Green Is Good'! I take this (along with my Chlorella), for it's GLA content, along with all the OTHER nutrients that it has in it. I am surprised that Kyoto does not offer Spirulina, but the Swanson one is just fine as is the price. Thanks Swanson!

Best Buy
I was becoming frustrated because this product was available only at expensive health food stores. I was excited to see it available at Swanson for a reasonable price. I am a customer for life now.

Great product, great price
I've taken spirulina for years as a detox helper. This tablet is easy to swallow, and I've been very satisfied with the effects Swanson's spriulina has had on my overall health. I take it with chlorella and recommend it!

Weird Effect
I bought the Sirulina because I wanted the health benefits, but after the second dose (1 morning-1 night) my urine change to a very odd, darker-than-normal color. So, I stopped taking it.

Get the Organic Version
I initially purchased this version of Spirulina because of the price. When the bottles came I looked at the pills. The pills are green with white specks. This product is loaded with fillers like calcium, which can be beneficial if you need calcium. I actually already have a calcium supplement.
I would suggest that you purchase the Swanson 100% organic version for a few dollars more. It's a much more potent version, because it is pure. The pill color is a pure dark green.

Can't do without

Not My Best Purchase
These were hard to swallow. I also noticed a hard stool while taking these supplements. I discontinued use even though these were supposed to be a complete food group.

A Basic Green Food
Spirulina is a must for a healthy diet. The Tabs are a convenient way to take the algae. Most people are repelled with the powder because of the fishy smell comon to sea veggies. But, whichever way you get your spirulina you are sure of a broad range of health ingredients all rolled into one. For me, the beta carotene and the B12 were the clinchers. All the other goodies are pluses.

Great Product but in wrong package
Great product but I don't like the package they come in. These tablets get stuck in my throat occasionally. They should be made in capsule form.
