Only ones I can take
I cannot swallow pills/capsules/tablets that are too large without getting them stuck in my throat! This was my only choice if I wanted to get the benefits of fish oil! Don't know why they don't make smaller ones. I would be willing to take two instead of one.

My kids love these!
Both kids love these. I tried them and they do have a fishy taste. I'd prefer to take a pill to swallow but chewable is required for the kids. My son doesn't like the texture of the outer capsule but he'll chew it to get the oil out then spit out the capsule.
We've purchased these for years. They are exactly like their name brand counterpart but for much less. Great value!

Misleading label, low DHA
I saw that these caps contained 550 mg of Bio Pure DHA and ordered these, only to find that Bio Pure DHA only contains 100mg of DHA in 550 mg. This means to get a gram of DHA, I would need to take 10 of the fish-shaped capsules.
And don't expect a chewable gummy. If you bite into them you get fish oil.

Great Chewables
I bought these for my picky eating grandsons. We had tried the gummy fish, but they were so nasty I returned them. My grandsons like these little fish and take them everyday. We are on our 4th bottle.

Pretty gross
My husband likes to use gummy vitamins. These were very dissapointing. They are like chewing on plastic with a liquid fish oil inside. We threw the bottles away. I am sure the oil was good quality, but the delivery method was awful!

Not the Best Chewable
I was looking forward to an adult dose omega chewable, but these little fish are wierd in the mouth and don't taste very good. They are like a chewy softgel and when you bite thru, the oily liquid center isn't very pleasant. I would rather swallow a pill.

best kids' fish oil
My 3 daughters (ages 2, 5, and 6) absolutely LOVE this fish oil. We could not find it for a while, so we had to try other brands (softgels and gummies) and none of them were nearly as good. By comparison, one of these softgels equals 2 or 3 softgels of most other brands. The fish shape is cute (as compared to the fish "egg" look of other brands).
As for the reviews that said these were hard to chew, I and my girls find them much softer and easier to chew than the other brands of softgels, and the taste is better than that of all the alternatives we tried. Yes, it is chewy, but that chewy outer part is what protects the nutrients inside. Yes, there is a very slight fish oil aftertaste - THIS IS FISH OIL - what do you think it's going to taste like? My girls all like the taste, and the middle one is a VERY picky eater (if it looks like fish, smells like fish, or tastes like fish, she won't touch it). She's usually the one who reminds me that I need to give them their fish oil!

My Daughter Loves it!
My daughter is now a little over 2 and has been taking this "fishy" (as she calls it) since she was a year old. When we first gave it to her we did not know what she would do, I was afraid that she would choke, she really liked it and has been excited about it ever since. She ask everyday, "Mommy can I have my fishy," sometimes more than once a day! I have a 6 month old and I plan on starting him on it too!

Fair purchase
Even though I didn't see a big change in my son's focus and alertness, the sgel is easy to chew for him. I couldn't find the product again, so I'm trying another one with more DHA on it.

tough to chew
My two kids, 12 & 15, tried these. I tried one also. We just about gagged. The outside is tough to chew. My little cousin, 5, loves them. Go figure. One could always just swallow these instead of chewing.

Love these softgels!
I give these to my 4 year old. At first she didn't want to swallow the outer part after she chewed it up and ate the fish oil inside. That was fine with me as she was still getting the fish oil inside. Now that she is used to it, she eats the whole thing with zero issues. It is her favorite vitamin to take and she never complains. Just stick with it, and your kids will get used to them. I have not found a better chewable fish oil anywhere!

Good Tasting Chewable Fish Oil
Easy to chew, good tasting fish oil supplement for children or for adults with swallowing problems.
The flavor is sort of citrus-like, the texture is like a gummy-bear candy, and this is really a palatable way to get fish oil into somebody who can't handle either large capsules or the liquid fish oil. Plus, the capsule has a little fish tail, so it sort of looks like a candy, to entice kids to use it.
Each "fish" contains 550 mg of oil with 100 mg DHA, so it is about half the omega-3 content of usual large fish oil capsules.

Great product
I have twin three year olds, one would chew these, no problem. The other one didn't care for the taste, but still would take them. Now, since they have learned to swallow tablets, they swallow these as well.

Not so great
The taste is horrible. I wouldn't call it chewable, it is like swallowing plastic fish oil. I had to open them up and mix in with food.

Easier than capsules
I have 5 little ones, and I want a fish oil supplement that is fairly concentrated (not like those gummy fish oils where you have to take 3 a day to get the recommended dose) yet is easier to take. I love these. They do have a tough skin, but my kids are pretty good at just swallowing it after they bite through. As for taste, it beats Coromega and others (non-capsule) I have tried. And the price is right, too. I order these again and again. They are the best I have found.

Tastes terrible!
The dha is not really not all chewable. The outside of it's texture is almost like plastic. The inside is really liquidy. I'm still trying to make use of it by breaking open the vitamin and putting into my kids juice and milk though. It also has a really fishy taste .

Not for young kids
My son just turned 3 and we have had trouble getting him to take these. I thought we we try this with him and he spit it out after he took a bite. I tried it and the problem is the skin of the vitamin. It is very tough and hard to break apart. The aftertaste was pretty bad too, but if you gave another gummy after that one, it may be ok.
