Ingredients: Organic Basil, Organic Potato Starch, Organic Maltodextrin, Sea Salt, Organic Garlic, Citric Acid, Organic Black Pepper, Silicon Dioxide
1. In a saucepan, mix packet contents with 1/2 cup water and 1/4 cup olive oil, stirring until completely dissolved. Cook over medium-high heat, while stirring constantly.
2. Remove from heat immediately once pesto comes to a boil.
3. Add pesto to freshly prepared pasta, 8 oz. dry. Stir in 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
Makes 3-4 servings.
Suggested Uses: Add 1 1/2 cups of pine nuts for added taste and texture.
For bruschetta, lightly butter and broil your favorite bread such as french bread or English muffin. Thinly slice fresh tomatoes & cheese and place on bread. Sprinkle pesto mix on top of cheese & broil for 5 more minutes.
