Raw honey. The good stuff. I cannot stand processed honey at the store any more, because raw honey is leaps and bounds better, in almost everything: Flavor, texture, nutrition, enzymes, etc.
This specific raw honey is one of the best, in my opinion. It's organic, raw, so it retains the enzymes and nutrition that is normally stripped away in processed honey. Also, the honey comes in a glass jar, (yeah!)
Some things to consider:
When I first got this honey, some was leaking out, I believe because the seal on the lid was eaten away by the honey in the jar, but I actually see this as evidence that the honey did indeed have the enzymes that I was hoping for! :D Note: there was an external seal that is a strip connecting the jar and the lid that remained intact, verifying the honey was not tampered with.
Another note:There is some waxy debris that is more prevalent than other raw honeys I've purchased by other brands.
However, it wasn't that hard to remove the waxy debris, and what was beneath it was one of the smoothest, best textured honeys I've ever gotten. Totally worth it!
I have had several brands raw honeys, and even though my whole comment section seems mostly negative, I still recommend this honey. I put what I did in the comments for your sake if you ran into what I did. 5 'leaves' in Satisfaction. :D

Got this about two weeks ago and have it every day in my cup of hot dandelion tea. I've always used honey in my tea but have never tried raw honey. What a difference in the taste. I did like the capping on the top of the honey and I did scrape it off and chew it like gum. Reminded me of when we used to buy honey with honey comb right in the jar. Another plus is this honey comes in a glass jar. I will never go back to regular honey in a plastic bottle. Thanks Swanson for offering this delicious honey.

I Very Much like the taste of this product. I wondered if I had the courage to try this product which has real bits of honeycomb in it! And I did! It really is not that "foreign" of a concept when it is realized that it is so good for you. The taste: Mmmmmmm!

I have gotten into HONEY big time in the last year. This Really Really Raw Honey was one of the first I purchased... I've tried about 30 different Raw Honey and this has got to be one of the top 3....I like the chunks of bee; elbows, armpits, kneecaps and honeycomb throughout the jar. Very unique taste and chunky to boot. It's thick! I never warm any of the honey I have, on a spoon and down it goes... no better way to enjoy one of God's gifts to humans...Try a wonderful experience! Enjoy.

I have been a consumer of quality honey for more than 40 years. I have been purchasing my honey from Swanson for a number of years now. The quality they sell is excellent. I normally buy raw honey which is more nutritious than processed honey considering the amount of vitamins, minerals, and enzymes all of which the body needs. Swanson is an excellent company to do business with. Their customer service department is polite, efficient, and client-centered. I'm totally satisfied with doing business with them and look forward to making an order very soon before my raw honey, toothpaste, liquid soap, and other products run out.

I loved that this honey is very good for you and has propolis in it, but I didn't like the bits of honeycomb in it. I sweeten my coffee with it and don't want anything in it but the raw honey. I feel it's a really good product, but not as a sweetener for me.

I love this honey, this is the only one I buy for now after trying a lot of other brands and of course it cannot be compared to the honey at the grocery store.
I love this honey and I have already recommended this product to a couple of friends.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Labey I'm glad you asked for my opinion. Not sure what i'm going to do with this product. Smells horrible and tastes the same. Lid was also broken when I received the jar. Sorry just not happy with this purchase. Will get my honey at market.

Rated 1 out of 5 by GlennS1956 Honey Comparison
I couldn't decide which raw, organic honey to purchase, so I bought two types at the same time. I compared them both, and placed the results into the categories below. The brands of honey I bought are...
Y.S. Eco Bee Farm, 100% Certified Organic Raw Honey, 1 lb. paste, $7.19
Really Raw Honey, 1 lb. Jar, $10.53
Strangely, the Y.S. Eco Bee brand doesn't have that phrase anywhere on its jar. Instead it is labeled "Y.S. Organic Bee Farms". I don't know where the "Eco" came from, or where the "Farms" went. ;-)
TASTE: WINNER: Y.S. Eco Bee
The Y.S. Eco Bee honey is one of the best tasting substances on Earth. My girlfriend said it was "disappearing honey", because if I didn't hide it from her it would disappear. And the whole jar of it did disappear, quickly. After it was gone we tried the Really Raw Honey. It has a more "molasses" taste to it, and isn't as sweet. To me, it tastes terrible. Upon her first and only taste of it, my girlfriend said, "I don't want any more of that, ever". It fell upon me to make the rest of the pound of honey "go away". I consumed it all so it didn't go to waste, but it was not a pleasant task.
SPREADABILITY: WINNER: Really Raw Honey
The Y.S. Eco Bee honey is hard, and takes some effort to remove from the jar. It would tear a piece of bread to pieces if you tried to spread it on at room temperature. The Really Raw Honey is very thick, but is easily removed from the jar with a spoon. It melts into coffee faster, too.
MADE IN THE USA: WINNER: Really Raw Honey
Really Raw Honey is made in the USA. Y.S. Organic Bee Farms is based in Sheridan, IL, but the jar states on its label "A product of Brazil & Canada".
WAX: WINNER: Y.S. Eco Bee
Really Raw Honey's website states, "The crunchy bits of pollen, propolis, and capping wax that crown each jar of our honey are called 'cappings'... They are sometimes referred to as 'Farmer's Chewing Gum.' Because they do contain bits of wax, many people like to chew them and discard the wax afterwards."
I am not one of those people. The top of the honey was indeed capped with nasty looking "stuff" with a granular texture. I scraped some of it off the top and put it in my mouth. I let it dissolve and swallowed the honey, and tried to chew the mess. It does not stick together. I had to constantly use my tongue to bring the whole mess together, and then each chew would spread it out again. Then when I tried to spit it out, I kept finding grains of it in my mouth that had to be gathered up and spit out. I then scraped the rest of the mess off the top of the honey and threw it away, wasting about a tablespoon of honey. The "cappings" was a negative attribute in my experience. The Y.S. Eco Bee honey contained no such funk.
ECONOMY: WINNER: Y.S. Eco Bee
Not only is the Y.S. Eco Bee $3.34 per pound cheaper, the Really Raw Honey isn't as sweet, so I found myself using more of it to sweeten my coffee.
THE FINAL WORD: I am now a Y.S. Eco Bee customer. It's perfect for my coffee, green tea, and for making veggie smoothies in the blender. I am not going to warm it up to spread it, or try to use it to sweeten other cold liquids, though. For those chores I went to the grocery store and bought a two pound plastic bottle of Aunt Sue's Raw, Wild, Strained, Natural honey; which is a traditional liquid. At eight bucks, it's about half the cost of the Y.S. Eco Bee. The taste of Aunt Sue's isn't nearly as good, but it still tastes far better than the Really Raw Honey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KickinHigh Best Tasting Honey - EVER!
Really Raw Honey is the best tasting, best smelling honey I've ever found. It is moved directly from the hive to the jar - never barreled, heated or strained - and contains pollen, propolis, and honeycomb.
I'm so excited and grateful that Swanson is now carrying this honey!
The bees rest in winter, so stock up now. You won't find a better pricel
