Not just skin care product Even though this Grape Seed oil keeps hands soft , it tastes great on a salad , sizzles around fried food without smoking, and replaces cooking oil in recipes comfortably. An all around healthy option oil mixed in luscious pancake batter, baking powder biscuits or other quick breads. My grocery doesn't offer a pure Grape Seed oil product, so I appreciate Swanson Vitamins Co. providing it's customers, yet again, with great choices. April 26, 2013

Can't live without it! I've been looking into eco-friendly and economical skin/body care for a while now, mainly to use multi-purposely. Grapeseed was said to be ideal for my type of skin so I tried Now's brand and haven't looked back. I use this oil for just about every toiletry/skin/body care need. I use it as a makeup remover, shave oil, all-over body moisturizer, hair conditioner... and to amp it up, I use a few essential oils too. I'm loving making my own creations and it is very economical to do so! Swanson's prices are the best! January 22, 2013

really like this product this is excellent for smoothing on skin after bath or shower. leaves skin so soft and silky. also works great as an hair product; work into hair well, let set a few minutes then shampoo. hair is soft, shiny and easy to manage. January 18, 2013

Love it!! I just love this oil. I hate olive oil on my hair so I stick w/ this. If your hair likes olive oil you may not like this but who knows all I know Is I can't live with out my Now Grapeseed oil. It rocks!!! January 6, 2013

Pleasant I like to give oils the taste test bvcause that, to me is the healthiest and cleanest way ti get it into my body. This oil passes the taste and sensation test, I can take it by spoon just like some other very exclusive, expensive oils I take. So I will be adding this one more regularly. I will be glad to add it to body oils, too. May 26, 2012

Excellent Beauty product!! I love grapeseed oil! It is great for my skin. The skin on my face is very sensitive to most store products. Grapeseed oil doesn't bother it a bit and my skin looks much smoother and softer than it has in years. It is so gentle, I will not use anything else. It works just as well for my body and hair. I also love coconut oil too. I think natural is always best! April 27, 2012

wonderful for cooking This oil is wonderful for cooking. I purched this partcular oil thinking it was mainly for skin, so I use it in the shower as a moisturizer. It's a little heavier than I expected. Prefer to use it in cooking. March 23, 2012

Amazing! I love this stuff. It smells almost like an olive oil (which I like the smell). It's very moisturizing for my face and doesn't feel overly oily like coconut oil can sometimes. It really absorbs into my skin to helps with what winter does to my face (make it tight, dry, and uncomfortable). I've used it for a few days and hasn't caused any breakouts. For skin? All the previous reviews were based on using grapeseed oil on the skin. What a surprise! But don't forget - grapeseed oil is a fabulous and healthy oil for salads and baking!!! (but maybe I'll even try it on my skin instead of coconut oil sometime) April 5, 2010

Best After Shower or Shave A few drops of this make a nice all-natural, single-ingredient styling solution for fly-away hair, especially right after shampooing. I can't recommend this as an all-purpose moisturizer; it takes awhile to absorb into the skin and feels a bit oily/greasy until it does. Not something you want to put on as you're getting into bed... although it does not seem to stain (thank goodness!) This does make a great after-shower moisturizer; it seems to absorb faster into wet skin. It is also just slippery enough to make a good massage oil. I like it as an aftershave lotion, as well. I appreciate the fact that this product is organic and odorless, and you certainly get a lot for your money with the 16 oz size. (Most other oils come in 4 oz bottles for about the same price.) I have somewhat tricky skin - dry, especially in the winter, yet prone to breaking out. So far, I've been impressed with the grapeseed oil. It seems to help with dryness but not clog pores. Just, as I say, don't plan to apply it right before bed. I'll stick with my Desert Essence unscented hand/body lotion for that. April 1, 2010

Wonderful! I have only been using Swanson's Grapeseed oil for a couple of weeks, but immediately noticed a difference from what I had already been using. I use it on my smile lines and under my eyes at night, and my lines are already showing signs of softening. I also use it on my nails and hands. Hands are softer, and nails are growing almost before my eyes, and they don't break or chip. I have very sensitive skin, and am having only good results from this product. Works for me! I read that massagers use grapeseed oil as a base to which one adds perfumed oils. Thought I'd try it to, since I have several perfumed oils already. Tell you what, my wife wants more massages. She claims that was the best she's ever had. I mixed a little rosemary oil with the grapeseed oil, and it smelled wonderful. This oil provides excellent lubrication between skins and is edible, so it's safe too. September 2, 2009
