E Liquid 4.5 5 1 2
The Right Stuff This is the vitamin E to get for external (skin) uses. As we age, fair skinned people are presented with a quandary: Protect your skin from the sun (sunscreen) and the need for vitamin D. I take a supplement vitamin D but am still deficient. My solution is to transition from a daily moisturizer with sunscreen to this vitamin E Liquid by NOW Foods. For long exposures to summer sun sunscreen is still the best idea. Per Professor Lester Packer's book "The Antioxidant Miracle" the normally found vitamin-E-acitate does not absorb well into the skin. He suggests d-alpha-tocopherol. I tried both Vitamin E oil and Vitamin E Liquid (both NOW): Vitamin E Oil is thick and sticky. Vitamin E liquid is more concentrated in vitamin E, and thus contains less oil. It is not as thick and much less sticky. After trying both, I went with this 4 oz size to refill the dropper bottles. I find this a very good value. April 4, 2013
