Angel Hair Shirataki
I just made them for dinner and we both liked them. I rinsed them well, blanched in hot water tossed them with some sauce and yum! What a treat to feel like we are eating pasta without all the carbs! We will be ordering these again!

I was really hoping in my attempts to find comparable non-carb items that this one would be good. But (and this is my opinion) these noodles were gooey, slimy, and just gross. They had a nasty texture and smell. Not for me.

I liked that it is so convenient-just pour out of the bag add sauce, heat and eat. Helps me out that way and not tempted to cheat on my diet.

Pure simple eating pleasure, again!
I grew in the USAF, eating shirataki cooked by Japanese trained cooks mm... I have just recently found them online thank God! For they were my favorite noodles as a kid! They were so much fun to bite into! Not today maybe, but mm... they are still delicious, and I don't do much with them either. For plain noodle soup, I rinse them as directed. Then I throw them into a boiling mix of chicken or beef broth a dash of ginger and soy sauce. Boiling them about 5 minutes and I thank God. That I was born in Japan, learned to eat them young, and have found them again!

These noodles take three steps to prepare.
I took extra time to rinse them, after reading
Some other reviews.
if you follow all the steps advised you will find that they are of good consistency
and no taste whatsoever.
They blended in well with a chicken stir fry.
However, the packet is about one small serving.
This product would not work for a pasta type

Be sure to rinse in hot water then dry fry for about 5-10 minutes and you will be very happy with these noodles. They are very good for low carb diets.

I sceptial at first
Actually this stuff is not bad. The directions say to rinse for 30 seconds but I rinsed until I could hardly smell the fishiness. I think the first rinse is key. Also it says to heat in a dry skillet to get some of the moisture out after boiling. I fried it in a little oil and it definely helped for the moisture. I boiled it for three minuets and I found the texture was fine. It looks gross when boiling but once it is prepared it really does take on the flavor of the sauce. It is also very filling. I had read lots of bad reviews about these noodles but I after a proper rinse and dry it was pretty good. I also re-heated some the next day and found it did not change the taste or texture.

Miracle Noodle Angel Hair Shirataki
I used 'Miracle Noodle Angel Hair Shirataki' noodles in place of regular pasta for my turkey spaghetti making it a very healthy low carb dinner. My friend couldn't really tell the difference between the two... other than the shirataki noodles being slightly more opaque than regular pasta noodles.

Angel Hair Shirataki
Healthy no cal/no carb alternative to regular pasta. Takes care of that craving for pasta. Very easily used and takes on the flavor of the other ingredients.

While they don't taste the greatest, they are good to eat because of the healthiness of them.

If you like pasta without the guilt... This is for you!
April 29, 2013
The noodles are great! I have read in reviews online complaints about the noodles, so I did smell them. They do have a fishy smell, but I had to hold them up to my nose to smell them and once you rinse them as instructed with cold water it leaves very little smell. I prepared a bowl of soup with veggies and the noodles topped with lemon and tapatio. My bowl of soup was delicious and very satisfying! I am calorie counting and this will be my dinner for a while. The noodle itself is not flavorful but tasted as good as my soup and that was delicious!!! Will definitely buy again! The shipment was received VERY FAST!! The price does seem high as it is only seven ounces of noodles, but once you prepare your dinner and add it up, it's not bad! I paid $9.99 for a soup in a restaurant with this noodle. It was much cheaper to make at home.

Great for Dieting
This is a great alternative for spaghetti noodles. With a good spaghetti sauce, you don't even miss the regular noodles. They take on the flavor of whatever sauce you use with them.

All shirataki noodles have a light algae like aftertaste, so it's best to rinse them under hot water before use. These noodles aren't much. Only thing need to remember is to rinse properly to take the slightly odd smell away, and not to over-cook/heat (it gets soggy and goes to nothing). Don't have a flavor per se. But I LOVE THEM. WOULD NEVER EAT WITHOUT SPICES/FAVORITE SAUCE due to the "no flavor" and texture. They are exactly the meal filler that I need, and they add something with no dietary cost. Unless of course extra fiber is a problem for you. Just what my diet needed.
