
Put the garbanzo, garlic and tahini in food processor. Pulse until it becomes paste-like, adding a few tablespoons of water if needed. Add the cayenne pepper, cumin and lemon juice and pulse again until combined. With the motor running slowly add the olive oil until it is emulsified. Add the parsley and pulse until combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to a small bowl and serve with pita bread or chips.
Makes approximately 2 1/4 cups (18 servings). Serving size 2 tablespoons.
