I've been using this for about three months now and I really notice a difference in how I feel. My systems are just working better. I wanted extra protein without all the sugar and additives of other products. I have learned that the best way for me to enjoy this is to blend it with some citrus peel, some hydrated chia seed, some yogurt (whole fat), a slice of ginger root, and a few shakes of cinnamon. I have started adding a little turmeric and a shake of pepper as an easy way to get that into my diet. I will not be without this product - have even taken it on my travels!

Great addition to an organic raw vegan diet
I mix this product in water with a pinch of sea salt to form a liquid for cereal. I also use it in green smoothies. I use more of the product after a work out. I love the unflavored powder the best. Thanks for stocking a great product and providing it at a low price!

Being on a vegan diet I find this an excellent protien source to insure I reach my goal of 50 to 60 grams of protein daily.
I also have found getting older and taking Life Extension's super digestive enzymes helps my body metabolism the protein.
My Holistic Medical doctor is pleased.
I mix it with some pure organic grape juice and that's it.
Some have reviewed about the texture being a problem. It does not totally dissove and there are way to using this on food. But I just knock it down and thing what a good thing I am doing for my health.
Also I prefer the plain flavor so I can mix with whatever.

Might not be for me.
I initially tried the chocolate flavored version of this protein powder, but found the stevia extremely overwhelming. So I decided this time around to go unflavored and add my own fruits and flavorings.... Well, I think I'd rather have the overwhelming stevia. I'm really not digging the smell, and the taste is a little off.... almost to the point where I wonder if I got a bad batch. Even with only blueberries added, it tastes and smells slightly medicinal or like cough syrup. VERY odd. And really hard to choke down. Maybe I just haven't found the right combination of fruits to add? Maybe I need something more sugary like a banana to mask some of this flavor. I'm not sure. But even if I find some way to choke down the rest of this container, I'd likely either go back to the chocolate version or just move on all together. The reason why I still gave it as many leaves as I did is because I know that Garden of Life makes great quality products. I really did think I was going to be in love with this, but I just wasn't.

This is the greatest protein supplement I have found. If you are searching a product to supplement protein without soy or whey this is it and it easily blends with any fruit or veggie.

This product includes so much of what is good for you so taking it makes me feel I am getting what my body needs. It is a bit chaulky tasting in my smoothie but it really isn't that bad.

this protein powder is easy to mix in a blender or blender cup and taste great with water or almond milk

Plant-based, tastes great!
All from sprouted grains, completely organic, NO Soy, No Garbage. This powder is very fine, mixes easily and has a delightful nutty aroma to it.

Use protein pwdr in our green drinks every morning. Makes a huge difference in energy level throughout the day. Highly recommend. A+++

A Few Problems
I am certain that this protein powder is high quality and a good source of non-whey/soy based protein but it doesn't mix as well as other protein powders I've tried in almond milk. This is a big deal for me because I only use almond milk in my protein smoothies. And it's not bad if you mix in some fruit or berries but the taste of the powder itself while fairly tasteless is extremely chalky.

Only protein powder that does not hurt my stomach
I have been using this protein for at least 6 months. I have tried almost every protein out there. This is the only one that does not bother me. Others either made me feel nauseous or gave me sharp pains in my stomach.
I love the neutral taste that can be used with any flavor. I also appreciate that there is no sweet taste to it so you can control how much "sweet" you want.

This product is a sugarless way of getting protein.

Great Product Awful Packaging
Love the ingredients for this product. Product is extremely fine, appear high quality, and lots of benefits; BUT, the container is such a disaster and I lost at least 1/3 or more just trying to deal with the size of the top and label slides around suggest taking it off. Anyone without a very large hand will have difficult opening and closing the top. I am an older small framed woman and I believe I split more than I got to drink. Also, didn't mix up very well in just water or almond milk. Wouldn't order again due to packaging issues.

Great "whey" to get your protein!
I saw this product advertised in my local organic grocery store magazine. I thought this looks great, especially the raw ingredents. I checked on Swanson's and sure enough they had it, and at a cheaper price than the local store. I can't imagine all the good and healthy stuff this protein powder does for my body! I mix it with almond milk too, thanks to the suggestion from a past reviewer. I plan on using this product for many years to come!

Best Vegan Protein Powder!
I used to use Whey and noticed a remarkable difference in my strength. Then I became vegan and started using Soy. I used many different brands, but didn't notice much help in my workouts. Then I read about the Hexane used in the processing of Soy Protein Isolate, and stopped using it. I was getting weaker, until I found this stuff. I love the taste, and I'm able to gain strength in my workouts again. It is wonderful, and so much cheaper through Swanson's.

Definitely Raw Protein!
As a vegetarian, this protein definitely satisfied my need for a high quality supplement. My only qualms are that the product is a bit messy and doesn't blend into drinks as well as I would have hoped. The raw taste is also very evident. I personally am not too bothered with it, but you may consider one of the flavors if you don't want the taste of straight veggie protein.

Best Protein Source
I've been looking for a non-whey, non-gluten protein source, and this fits the bill. The taste is neutral so it goes in just about any shake concoction. It doesn't mix particularly well, but it will mix eventually. High protein grams and good price.

nice package of raw protein
It is organic and nice to take..tried my first table spoon today..in fruit juice, water, and 4 table spoons of yogurt blended well together as a breakfast drink..It was nice.. I like the idea of sprouts..which means it has been enzyme activated...from the seeds... the combination of products feels well balanced and comfortable to digest. because of the enzymes..
I would definitely consider reordering this for myself again when I finish this
I especially like the packaging design and concept of shrinkwrap labeling and usable container ... ..

I bought this as an alternate source to whey as it is gluten free and very natural - wasn't sure what to expect due to some of the other reviews...however, after getting this and simply adding it to the 40 calorie almond milk (8 oz) I found it pretty tasty. Then I started playing around with it - I would blend up 1/4 cup almond milk, 1/4 cup veggie berry juice - 3 ice cubes, spinach, raw stevia and 1/2 cup water and blend - then take a shaker cup and dump in and add RAW protein mix and shake and it was DELICIOUS! It is actually one of my favorite drinks (and healthy) drinks to make. This in addition to the other Garden of Life product has made a huge difference in how I feel and I am so happy with this company - too we love Swansons for their large variety and cost effectiveness. Anyway - great product if you are looking for another source of protein!! Thumbs up!

I've tried several brands of "protein powder' and GoL's Raw Protein is the winner in my opinion. I combine it with SuperGreens, some sweetner and some cocoa.... yummmmm! An excellent meal substitue.

The ingredients look healthy. thats why I bought it. but unlike most protein powder drink mixes....this one tastes really awful . Chaulky tasting. mixing with milk doesnt help. mixing with other protein powder(chocolate) doesnt help. I cant see myself buying it again. a shame, because the ingredients are good.

Orangic & Raw
I just tried the Raw Protein and I have to say I think it's pretty good. Those who are use to a sweeter protein drink may have to add fruit or juice. I mixed it with water and organic blueberries and a splash of coconut milk (vanilla flavored) and this really was tasty. I love that its raw, organic and has no fillers or synthetic anything. To me, its worth adding a little fruit for taste as I think the quality of the product is superior to most out there.

Very difficult to use
The powder goes everywhere. Very messy. I tried using this at work at lunch and it went all over my office. I decided that I will wait until they come out with the travel packs of this. It did seem to help in terms of protein supplements.

I Love this Protein Powder!
I have dairy & gluten allergies and don't do well with soy protein. I love the taste (and I have tried many other protein powders that I didn't like), and I feel great when I'm taking it. I also love that it has enzymes and probiotics.

I need an non-dairy protein powder. Raw Protein fits the bill. The fact that it is a raw, whole food item makes it that much better!
I mix it into a flavored, no calorie vitamin water and sometimes add an Emergen-C packet to give the drink a C-boost and added flavor.
It gives me energy with easy digestion so that I can complete my fitness routine without stomach upset and fullness.
