Good facial cleanser
I quite like this face wash. It has a unique scent which not everyone will like, but I like it. This leaves my face feeling clean and fresh, and I have no guilt as it's all natural and cruelty-free :) it's also gluten-free, which is important for me.

Funky face Wash
I don't like the fragrance of this product. It's also too watery. The pump didn't work right. The face wash seeped out around the neck instead of coming out of the dispenser. I finally decided to pour the contents into a hand soap dispenser I have and now use it for washing my hands. I like some of the other Dessert Essence skin and hair care products, but not this one.

It lasts forever!
After using store-bought foaming face washes for many years, I decided to try an all natural alternative. This stuff leaves my face feeling fresh and utterly clean. I've had this particular bottle for over four months and am not even half way through it! I would've blasted through two bottles of my old product by now. Love it and will purchase it again!

Deep cleans face!
This is the best facial cleanser. After I use it, my face doesn't have any residue and it's ready to be moisturized.

Returned this one
I had to return this one - to me, it was unusable. I got it to wash my face in the mornings and evenings, but it really was no good for me. It doesn't remove makeup well in the slightest, smells horrific (and STRONG!) and really, really burned my eyes. (I forgot to mention that it tastes horrendous also, as somehow I accidentally got a tiny taste of it when rinsing my face off.)

Leaves Skin Really Clean & Fresh
Another natural product from Swanson that I will adopt as part of my regular facial hygiene regimen. I am hopeful Swanson will come up with a body/shower wash of this caliber. Great value, smells wonderful, and leaves skin squeaky-clean.

Didn't work for me
I purchase this facial wash because I was looking for something natural. Well this product didn't work for me it started to break me out. I do like the fact that it cleans your face without making it feel real tight. Overall, I think it's a great product it just didn't work for me.

Good product - HOWEVER...
I like this face wash a lot. My husband (sensitive dry skin) and I (combination skin) have used it every day for several years. It's a good basic cleanser, it's affordable, and it lasts a long time.
I have one big complaint, though, and it's something that has been particularly annoying lately. The mechanics of the packaging is really poor. About two weeks into opening up a new bottle, the pump gets clogged and the built-up pressure makes the wash seep out around the top part of the screw-on top and onto the bathroom counter top. It's inconvenient and messy. It wouldn't be so bad if there was an easy way to unclog the pump, but there really isn't. Running hot water through it for several minutes is really the only thing that works, but it starts to clog up again after only a couple of days - it's an irritating cycle. It seems a lot of people are fans of this face wash - can't the manufacturer do us all a favor and fix this problem?

Excellent Cleanser!
When my previous cleanser had it's formula changed, it threw my skin into a tailspin. I crossed my fingers when I ordered this hoping I would find relief and after less than one week of use, I am a happy camper. This is a great cleanser!
I would agree that there is a fairly strong scent and when you look at the list of ingredients, you can understand why. There is a lot of great stuff in here that makes me feel like I'm being pampered at a spa.
The liquid does tend to squirt out of the spout uncontrollably so try to aim for the palm of your hand instead of the fingers. Even this won't stop me from reordering because it is still a great value at this price.
I do recommend a moisturizer after cleansing. In the evening I use Swanson's clear complexion cream. In the morning, Swanson's vitamin K cream works great for me!

I've been using this for 6 years
I have very oily skin and would easily get clogged pores often. I love this cleanser because of how gentle but yet VERY effective it is! I have tried MANY other products for a number of years and once I came across this I have had no reason to look anymore. Very satisfied, especially for the price here on Swanson's!

Ahhhh. Feels so nice!
Makes my face feel oh-so soft. And it doesn't dry this old skin of mine out, either!
The scent of the tea tree oil is a bit strong at first (I kinda like it, tho--makes me think, "clean"), but it does not linger.
Also, it is thin and it shoots out of the dispenser, so be ready! ;)

Works well and can't beat the price
This product works great. I have oily skin and I like how it makes my face feel. Scent is ok. It is watery, but lathers nicely. I have been using it for months and have no intentions of switching.

Surprised By Its Effectiveness
I thought I'd give this product a try as I'd like to make healthier choices regarding healthcare and food for my family. After using this product for more than two weeks, I can say I'm very pleased with it and will continue its use. The smell was a little strong, and for those of us who might be a little new to this organic lifestyle, is a little odd too. The smell doesn't seem to stay on after rinsing, however, and its not really bad, just different. The product is rather thin in consistancy as another reviewer noted. Their idea of putting it in a foam dispenser is one that I'm now considering as it would be less wasteful and certainly would increase its value even further. I have combination skin and am surprised that my face gets squeaky clean with a product that has tree "oil" in it. I'm going to order more for each of my three teenage sons! It seems that Desert Essence makes reputable products. I'm going to try more.

Awesome facewash!
This facewash is great! I like the fact that it does not have any chemicals. This is by far the best price and quality for a chemical free facewash that I have found. if you have dry skin, simply add olive oil to the amount that feels right for your skin.

Awesome Product
I love the way it makes me skin feel - silky and soft. It is thin and runny, so I put it in a foaming pump dispenser. Works great! The smell is strong, but the smell doesn't last on your skin.

GREAT face wash
This face wash is amazing. The only downside is that the smell is REALLY strong (and not in a good way), especially when you first start using it. Fortunately it's something you get used to if you give it a chance, and it's worth it.

Great Bargain
This cleanser is better and cheaper than any other cleanser I've tried. I have combination skin and it works well to keep my face moist, yet clean. My teenager also uses it with great success. We have stopped using name brand expensive products with much satisfaction!

Affordable option to store brands
I've been using this face wash for about 4 months. While it does seem to clean my face and make it feel healthy, I have noticed that it really does not do much to stop my oily skin. The dispenser is a bit awkward too because the liquid is so thin that I find myself losing some through my fingers every time I use it. If you are looking for an affordable, basic face wash with natural ingredients, you should like this. If you have an oily complexion, I would suggest looking at face washes made exclusively to handle that issue.

The face soap comes out quickly when you pump it and it's hard to get in your hand. It also really burns if you get it in your eyes!
