Great bread mix! When you are gluten free it's so hard to find good products that taste good!

Hand or machine baked, this tastes good and has a good texture. If you are a bread making person, this mix can be altered in many ways to suit your special occasions.

I made cinnamon rolls out of the bread mix. They turned out much better than when I made it from scratch gluten free flours. I think in the instructions it tells you to have 3/4 cup of egg and from scratch I think there was too much liquid. They turned out to my satisfaction. When I rolled they out I used a lot of brown rice flour and greased my knife when slicing into rolls.

This is a very easy mix. Mixes quickly and easily in the bread machine. It makes a very nice loaf, slightly dense. I let it cool, then slice it and place it in a plastic bag and then place it in the freezer. It is then easy to take out a couple of slices per day to use. It toasts up great in the toaster.

Rated 3 out of 5 by GlutenFreeLady Tastes a little beany... One of the better GF bread mixes. As with most GF bread mixes, difficult sometimes to try to judge when it's done in the center without overbrowning the outside.
Still looking for the perfect GF bread mix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by josanne28 Awesome gluten free bread
Due to additional food allergies, we made this bread gluten free, egg free, and dairy (cow's milk free#. We used the non-egg powdered substitute and almond milk. The process of making the bread is not quite the same as a wheat flour bread as the dough remains very sticky and no need to knead the bread. Just mix and spread in the loaf pan. It smells great baking. I originally only ordered one package and my kids #age 11 and 9) begged me to order more. Almost every decent gluten free bread pre-made on the market includes egg in the ingredients. My daughter had never been able to take a sandwich on a field trip. She can't wait to bring "real" bread! Plus she likes it. The texture is moist and the bread stays moist over multiple days versus the dry and crumbly versions of gluten free bread. It slices well and is excellent toasted. I believe another reviewer posted that when you don't make it in a bread maker, you an end up with big holes. That did happen to us also; however it still tastes great. If you are gluten free, this is a definite item to try. We did and don't regret it and just received the 10 I reordered.

This bread lives up to it's wonderful name, we are gluten free and embrace any product that makes us feel like we don't have to give up flavor or texture to eat healthier. Love this bread!

I agree with some of the other reviews that this bread is too crumbly after baking. So I added about a tablespoon of Xanthan Gum, and that solved that problem beautifully! I also like bread to have a bit of sweet taste, so I added a couple tablespoons of sugar. The basic mix is good. With a little variations, it is a wonderful gluten free bread mix. I just pour everything into the bread machine and the smell of baking bread soon fills the air.

This product is perfectly named! It is truly a wonderful, gluten-free bread. I bake it in a French Bread pan which gives it a nice crust and we love it! It makes great toast, too! (if there is any left over)
I usually add a quarter cup of ground flax to it, just because I think it makes it a little lighter. I keep extra packages in my freezer so I always have it on hand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by sunnymommy great in the bread machine
After being sick and tired of overspending on ready made shelf- stable or frozen gluten -free breads that always made me feel I was sacrificing taste for my health, one day I decided to buy this mix and make myself a loaf in the oven. I've never baked a yeast bread for fear of all the work and waiting involved, but because I had tried a good home-made gluten-free bread in another country, I decided maybe it was worth it. That first loaf with this mix was EASY TO MAKE, CAME OUT BEAUTIFULLY SHAPED, and TASTED AND SMELLED SO GOOD! I was hooked. Unfortunately, several loaves later, I didn't have that beginner's luck and each time my loaf came out with holes in it that made it difficult to use as sliced bread for sandwiches. I don't know what I was doing wrong... so finally I received a bread machine for Christmas and started using this same mix in it with WONDERFUL RESULTS EACH TIME! It SLICES NICELY for sandwiches (about 1/4" wide) and DOESN'T FALL APART EASILY. I sometimes add raisins, or flaxseeds (whole or grounded), or cinnamon to it. And because I don't want to waste the yolks, I use whole eggs rather than the whites as suggested on the package. I also use either rice milk or almond milk to keep it dairy and soy free. DEFINITELY A WINNER IN MY EYES!

I followed the directions carefully, and was pleased with how the bread rose. It smelled wonderful while baking, and we could hardly wait for it to cool so we could sample it.
It tasted much less wonderful than it smelled, but we expected some compromises, It was our first bread since starting the gluten-free regimen so we wanted it to be worth the effort.
The real problem was that in spite of careful wrapping, it was dry, crumbly, and SCstale the next day. Mold appeared on a leftover piece within 3 days.
I salvagd it by crumbling and freezing what was left, and using it as bread crumbs on baked chicken.
