Ingredients: Whole grain cornmeal, potato starch, whole grain sorghum flour, evaporated cane juice, whole grain corn flour, tapioca flour, baking powder (sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium bicarbonate, corn starch, monocalcium phosphate), sea salt, xanthan gum.

Cornbread Mix Directions

1-1/2 cups Milk (rice, soy, dairy)

1/3 cup Oil or melted Butter

2 Eggs

Have all the ingredients at room temperature. Preheat oven to 375ºF. Generously grease a 9 x 9-inch gray, nonstick pan. Place entire package of cornbread mix in large mixer bowl. Add 1-1/2 cups milk, 2 large eggs and 1/3 cup canola oil or melted butter. Mix on low speed with electric mixer until blended. Beat another 30 seconds with mixer on high. Pour into baking pan. Bake 25 minutes or until nicely browned.

I am not an individual who needs to eat gluten or wheat or dairy free, but decided to give this mix a try after hearing a person at work speak of it so highly. While it tasted better than I had anticipated, I still thought it to be a bit nasty-tasting, so will not be purchasing it again. Perhaps next time I'll try the one that isn't gluten-free... Taste Good I made the mix just like the package instruction; taste good. I too, made the whole package and froze half of it and microwaved it to reheat it; cornbread was still moist and very good. Others in my family said the cornbread mix was really good. August 2, 2012

Good product, but the directions for making it on the bag are for use of the entire bag in one baking session. I only want to use a half or quarter of it, so I have to do complicated math to make what I want. They should have more than one recipe for use on the bag. March 16, 2012
Delicious! Just tried this for the first time today. Very easy to prepare; had to bake a little longer than the recommended 25 min., but that might just be my oven. The finished product was even better than I had hoped. Nothing at all about the taste says "gluten free'; it's as good or better as any other cornbread I've ever tasted! Might crumble a little easier than conventional cornbread, but that's a non-issue as far as I'm concerned. I could serve this to anyone and they'd never know the difference! October 14, 2011
