Mag Oil Stings Revisited
Yes, I just received my jug of magesium oil and rubbed the oil sparingly into my knees after a shower and it also stung my skin.
I remember the previous reviewer mentioning this in their review.
It does go away slowly. I read the printed material on the jug and it states if it irritates the skin discontinue use.
I am going to dry it again this time without having bathed. Maybe the shower opens the pores? Here I go.........NO
STING!
So my advice is do not use after bathing or being in warm water to avoid opening the pores and feeling the sting.

Might just be me.
I love Swanson and the great products and prices, however, the Magnesium Oil burns my skin. At first I thought it was just because I had shaved my legs, but it even stings my arms, face, etc. The feeling goes away eventually, but it is not fun. Would not buy again and don't know what to do with this bottle.

Outstanding stuff. Would recommend Magnesium oil to most everyone. My skin never felt so good. The price is the best I've found anywhere.

I tried this after having used the pricier Ancient Minerals Magnesium for a couple of months, and the only significant difference is in the price. Quality is on the same level, and Swanson Ultra Magnesium Oil is so much less expensive, it's a no-brainer. This is the best value on the market for Mag. Oil... thanks Swanson!!!
