Best price Overall the best product. Everyone should eat these granules on every dish of food. Not bad tasting but you can aquire a taste for it. The best price is here at Swanson. May 13, 2012
Best Purchase & Find I use the Lecithin Granules as an emulsifier in my morning protein health shakes I make from scratch. It works great and I absolutely love it. April 30, 2012
Great Product Love that it's pure and natural. Can be used in hot or cold foods and drinks. And it's great for keeping my cardiovascular system, liver, and heart healthy. April 17, 2012
beneficial choline is good for the brain and this is full of it! I've been using for several years now, sprinkling it over a variety of hot and cold foods. Worth the purchase imo. March 30, 2012
Lecithin Great product! Unbelievable price! March 26, 2012
Great value and price This lecithin is a favorite of my mom's. She uses it in all her whole grain hot cereals. We buy it regularly. March 20, 2012
good stuff I'd prefer organic but seeing Swanson identify this product as nonGMO is a step in the right direction. And the price is very palatable. July 29, 2011
Jury still out The research on this product looks promising, so we are giving it a try. We both have reduced our weight 15-20 pounds and have been successful (thus far) in maintaining the lower weight. This product seems to add fat to dishes that would otherwise be less enjoyable to eat/drink. We add it to our protein drink in the a.m. We add to stews and extra lean ground beef. February 11, 2011
Nice This product gives great flavor to foods and drinks. Where I cannot add dairy with it's fat. I add some of this. January 9, 2011
Great price, very versatile I make my own non-stick oil spray with this (it is the lecithin that makes the sprays really work, not the oil). I also use it bread making and ice cream. So many uses, and it is good for me! November 14, 2010
Not what I expected Lecithin Granules to be. I bought the Swanson brand granules because it was cheaper than the other brand of granules I'd previously purchased. I like the fact that it is Non-GMO. I felt this product was every bit as effective as the other one I used. However, I found that the granules are a much lighter color (beige rather than egg yolk yellow) and they smell like chlorine. They also don't clump together--they are much drier. In other words, they don't look, smell or feel like I expect them to. I think I will purchase the other brand next time. September 25, 2010
My Favorite Lecithin Product This is a well-priced lecithin product, and is convenient to use. I have used it for a few years now, on salads, in protein shakes, on some vegetable dishes, and just by itself as a supplement. May 18, 2010
Brain Food I have added lecithin granules to my whole fiber cereal for over six years to add a nutty flavor. Store in refrigerator after opening to keep the fats from becoming rancid. Lecithin granules are high in omega 6 fatty acids and a fish oil supplement high in omega 3 fatty acids is recommended to maintain a low ratio of omega 6 to omega 3. March 20, 2010
Bargain Price Swanson's lecithin is like everyone else's lecitthin: fresh, unbleached, and packed with nutritive value. However, it's much more reasonable. A definite best buy! February 19, 2010
Good supplement I use this as an emulsifier and phospholipid source along with coconut oil to add some MCT's in my homemade hi-absorbancy Coq10 recipe. February 15, 2010
Good value Based on quite a few years experience with Swansons, I trust that they provide a good pure product. This is a good quality lecithin, and the price is good too. I often mix up a tablespoon of lecithin with a tablespoon of turmeric powder in water--I think it helps me to absorb the turmeric. January 25, 2010
Convenient and Tastes Pretty Good Gram for gram, Lecithin granules are a much better deal than buying Lecithin in softgel form, so I decided to give Swanson's granules a try. I have used other Lecithin granules in the past, and Swanson's are very comparable in taste and texture, but, as with almost all Swanson products, the price is much better! I use anywhere from a teaspoon to a tablespoon with dinner, as both an aid to digestion (Lecithin is an emulsifier like bile), and as an aid to help the absorption of other supplements, like Resveratrol and Milk Thistle. There are a few drawbacks to using Lecithin granules. First, they expire pretty quickly (at least mine do), and since there are a lot of granules in a container, ordering too many might leave you with some bad Lecithin. Second, while most supplements have a long shelf life, because of the oil in Lecithin, the granules can go rancid quickly, especially if not refrigerated. Third, because Lecithin is high in fat, taking it will increase your fat calories in a given day. Finally, Lecithin is high in Omega-6 fats, so taking too much could exacerbate the Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio in the body, which is why I always take Fish Oil along with Lecithin. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of these granules, bearing in mind the caveats I just mentioned. December 14, 2009
good product I'm a true believer that, when you crave a particular food, it's because your body is trying to tell you something. I was craving cake, everyday. It stopped as soon as I started taking lecithin granules (this brand takes just like cake!) . As a result, I have lost weight. November 6, 2009
Swanson Premium Pure Lecithin Granules I bought this product because of the many benefits that are said to help cholesterol and memory. I think it does but hard to prove as I also take other supplements for the same purpose. I eat it in my oatmeal every morning and it is tasteless. I would recommend it. September 17, 2009
great purchase This is a tasteless product , you simply sprinkle on your food. I was very satisfied with my purchase. August 26, 2009
Recommended Product I take this product for its many health benefits. In so far as it can be said that lecitihin granules taste good, these taste better than other brands. I find myself adding them to a wider range of foods. August 19, 2009
Great addition to many dishes. Lecithin Granules are nice to have around for a healthful addition to homemade smoothies, cereal and salad dressings. I like getting a good supplement that isn't in a capsule. August 12, 2009
add to dog food I feed this to my dog for extra nutrition and he looks great. You can see his picture if you google "St. Bermastiff." August 7, 2009
Take it every day I take this product daily because of the support for brain health & I can tell it helps. A very economical choice for this, by the way. Lecithin is used to help other nutrients be utilized, so that is another reason I take it Also, I think many people don't realize you can add this to various recipes to make them richer. Add a tablespoon or so to your home made recipe of chocolate pudding & it makes it unbelievably satiny & rich. This product is mild, especially when added to other things & not just taken alone. Refrigerate this, especially after opening as it is a fatty substance & fats go rancid much quicker when at room temperature. August 3, 2009
Yum! I ordered Lecithin for it's anti-oxidant properties that are also supposed to help with hearing loss. Never thought that it would taste this good though. Highly recommended. July 31, 2009
