Camu Camu Berries
Also known as: Camu Camu Berry Powder, Camu Camu, Golden Berry, Myrciaria dubia
Camu Camu berries are the fruit of a type of Amazonian tree. They grow in rainforest conditions and can be found near the Equator, such as in Brazil and Ecuador. The camu berry is one of the world's most abundant sources of vitamin C—as much as 60 times more C per serving than an orange. This antioxidant-rich berry is also a plentiful source of potassium, calcium, protein, beta carotene, amino acids and powerful phytochemicals. Camu Camu berries promote immunity, improve digestion, reduce inflammation and act as an antioxidant.
