Angelica
Angelica is a genus of aromatic, perennial herbs and shrubs in the parsley family Apiaceae. There are five species: Angelica atropurpurea (common angelica), A. gigas (giant angelica), A. sylvestris (wild angelica), A. archangelica, and A. officinalis or common garden angelicas. Angelicas have been used since ancient times for medicinal purposes including gastrointestinal disorders, heart disease, menstrual cramps and pain relief from arthritis and rheumatism among others.
