This product will keep my energy level up whole day, much better than my B-12 that I've been taking. A little pricy but no pills to swallow is a plus!

This stuff is great! It is not hard to take at all. The taste isn't bad and you only have to take a teaspoon a day. Really happy with this and I would recommend the cherry flavor over the original.

I chose Twinlab cherry flavored cod liver oil because of its high potency Vitamin A & D and mainly because it does not contain soy products. The cherry flavoring is subtle and taste satisfying. The cost was a factor also because most Hi-potency cod liver oils are very high in cost. I would recommend this to everyone looking for an excellent value and great taste.

This definitely has a noticeable fishy smell but the taste isn't too bad with the cherry flavoring added. I thought the bottle was glass but it isn't; just plastic which I don't care for. The last brand we got didn't have a fishy odor at all and tasted great but I suspect it was more soy oil than fish oil.
If you order this, consider ordering separately from items that you don't want getting that fishy smell all over as both bottles leaked and made a lot of items smell awful. Next time I have to order cod liver oil, it will be separate from tea, etc., that I don't want to end up smelling like fish(yuck).

i get the cherry flavored and then add a a capfull of vanilla extract to the bottle and it makes it much more palatable. it seems more therapeutic than the emulsified and pill forms. i usually mix with chocolate milk also. stir it up and drink it right away.

I thought this cherry flavored Cod Liver Oil was just so good. The taste was way better than I imagined without being too sweet. Value cannot be beat, guess our grandma's really knew a lot more than the "researcher's" of our day. Having a healthy winter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rusty53 Cod by nature is an oily fish , and Cod Liver Oil bares the justly earned reputation of bearing a very distasteful flavor . However this no longer is a problem do to the many choice flavors of present . Because of that society can now enjoy it's health benefits .

I needed to take something to raise my low vitamin D level. I can not take D3 because of allergy to sheep. I found Cherry Cod Liver Oil from Twinlab is working great and I am getting my energy back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by dairygoatlady Taste was not so good
The cherry flavor did not mask the cod liver taste. The lemon flavored is so much better. If I had only plain cod liver oil and cherry flavored cod liver oil, I would choose the cherry flavored cod liver oil.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RenegadeXan Love this oil
Let me first say how I love twinlab, they always offer quality product and this one doesn't disappoint. I have no trouble swallowing 2 tablespoon of this oil and I don't find the after taste to be unpleasant. The price is also very good and there are many servings in their bottle.
I planned to eventually buy fermented cod liver oil but seeing as how great this do the job for a small price I am not sure if it would be necessary.
I Most likely will buy from twinlab again next time I need cod liver oil.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mandolino Excellent price!!
This is a phenomenal price! I was paying almost double this at the grocery store. We've been using this brand because it was recommended on the Weston A. Price Foundation website, and it was the only one we can afford (with five of us taking it). In my opinion, the cherry flavor makes the fish oil MUCH more palatable. Thank you, Swanson, for offering this!!

the Twinlab that is orange or mint is much better & thicker in consistancy
this cherry is almost tasteless & is more like the plain old cod oil with the cod taste & water like.
it's usable but I won't buy the cherry again

Rated 5 out of 5 by Trustworthy SURPRISINGLY GOOD
WE KNOW COD LIVER OIL IS GOOD FOR US, BUT DON'T TAKE IT BECAUSE OF THE TASTE.
CHERRY FLAVORED COD LIVER OIL WILL SURPRISE EVEN THE MOST RELUCTANT.
TAKEN BY THE TABLESPOON OR CONSUMED BY DRINKING IT STRAIGHT FROM THE BOTTLE, CHASED WITH A SWALLOW OR TWO OF WATER, OR OTHER BEVERAGE OF YOUR CHOICE, IT IS SURPRISING HOW NON-OFFENSIVE THE FLAVOR IS.

I love this product. It tastes good to me and I take it every night. I have used this product for 6 years and would not trade it. I had some problems with other products but have had no problem with this product. The price is also good.

Rather than take a bunch of large pills to get my daily fish oil, it's easier and less expensive to take it as a liquid. I've found the cherry flavor, while still not pleasant, helps it go down more easily. It also does not burp up with a cod liver oil taste. The only negative is that you have to wash your hands and make sure it doesn't drip down the sides of the bottle. I keep a paper towel under the bottle in my refrigerator.

Being I have to take such a large dose of fish oil daily,3000 mg daily, The price is unbeatable! The quality is superb! As for the taste.... it IS fish oil after all. The cherry flavoring is good at covering up the immediate placement in the mouth, but the aftertaste is not so good. I have to prepare a "chaser" of a strong tasting driink to immediately down after I swallow. I use orange juice, grapefruit juice or lemonade. Try it, it works!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ageless great quality, great price
I have checked at my local health food store the price of cod liver oil, and the cost is a lot more than at Swansons. This one, with cherry flavor, is not only of excellent quality, but it also hides the fishy taste. I have read that homogenizing is not good, so that is why I prefer to buy this type of cod liver oil.

I fully expected the cherry flavored cod liver oil to be very fishy tasting, but was pleasantly surprised to see that it is very easy to take and does not have a strong fishy taste. It is a great value and is an excellent product that I plan to take for the rest of my life.

Rated 1 out of 5 Didn't read this one too carefully
This cod liver oil is not emulsified and has a real distinct fishy taste even with the cherry flavoring. My son runs from it, where as he actually likes the orange emulsified one. I already opened it so I try to use a little in my homemade raspberry dressing but very little because it is so yuck I don't want to spoil the dressing. I would not recommend this to anyone especially parents who are looking for fish oil for their children.
