  • Newly reformulated Tea Tree Oil Shampoo

  • 90% natural; no more parabens or sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS)

  • Remarkably beautiful, wonderfully natural results

If you liked our Swanson Ultra Tea Tree Oil Shampoo before, you're going to love our new reformulation. Why? It's more natural! We removed all of the parabens and sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and added a special herbal complex for a more natural approach to beautiful, healthy hair (and scalp). What hasn't changed is the tea tree oil foundation. This natural wonder from Australia contributes to the health and appearance of your hair and scalp unlike any other natural oil, at once defending and nourishing without drying or leaving behind an oily film. With the absence of SLS (a foaming agent in found in most shampoos), the one difference you will notice is less lather. But don't let that fool you. New Swanson Ultra Tea Tree Oil Shampoo produces remarkably beautiful results without the potentially harmful, unnatural or unnecessary ingredients.

Tea Tree Oil Shampoo 4.1 5 26 33
Great Product It is as good as other brands I have brought in health food stores and at a much better price. April 2, 2014
drying shampoo I found this shampoo left my hair stripped of everything. It was dry and fly away and lifeless. If I could use conditioner it might be ok. March 20, 2014
favorite shampoo I have used this shampoo and the conditioner for a couple of years now. Won't use anything else. It is my favorite! March 15, 2014
Nearly perfect I used and loved the old formulation of this shampoo but quit using it after reading reports on the potential danger of parabens. I am so happy Swanson listened to their customers and took the parabens out. The shampoo has a clean, fresh smell. It cleans great and leaves my hair shiny and full, never dry. The only problem I have with it is the way my hair feels while shampooing, it's hard to explain but when lathering up, the texture feels different than any other shampoo I've ever used, including "natural" shampoos. But other than that, it's perfect! January 10, 2014
I have used this product for the first time. It seems watery. It does leave your hair feeling clean January 2, 2014
Tea Tree Shampoo We like this product. It is natural and does a great job nourishing your hair. December 27, 2013
great product help reduce dry scalp in winter December 5, 2013
I like that this product is 90% natural. It is a bit liquid so I use more. November 2, 2013
Great shampoo This shampoo will clean your hair and protect your scalp from dryness. It is gentle enough to use everyday and the smell is wonderful. October 31, 2013
pretty good This shampoo is ok, it has less toxic ingredients than most. I don't like it much, however, because it stripped the red color from my hair. It still has some junk in it. I now use a "no poo" method, where twice a week when I wash my hair, I use one cup water with one tablespoon baking soda completely dissolved in it in place of shampoo. Make sure its completely dissolved, or you will end up with white pieces in your hair. The first time you try it, it might feel yucky, but it gets better. Cheap and effective, easy on my dyed red hair. October 27, 2013
Stripped Color I "help" my hair color, and this shampoo totally stripped the color. Must, must use conditioner or your hair will be a matted mess. I am going back to Swansons's Argon Oil Shampoo. August 27, 2013
Gerat Value Really like this product! Leaves hair and scalp feeling fresh and clean! Great value!. August 9, 2013
this product does not smell good but it works amazing! I absolutely love it. I use it exclusively and am very satisfied with it August 2, 2013
SHAMPOO This is a great natural tea tree oil shampoo and cleans well, lathers well, and rinses well. July 7, 2013
Tea Tree Oil Shampoo I really like this shampoo. It works even better than what I have been using for years. Also this is a great value! June 28, 2013
ALL IN THE FAMILY When I first got this shampoo for my son, who has a fabulous Elvis head of hair, my eldest daughter recognized its attributes, and she bogarted it off to the stables to use on her Big, Gorgeous, Bay, Show-Champion Quarter Horse. It works great for both of these big handsome boys. This Tea Tree Oil Shampoo is a lot more than just another good shampoo. It brings a lot to the show, and it performs admirably. I really like Swanson's Ultra Tea Tree OIl Shampoo for myself and the whole family, both two and four legged. I give it a big thumbs up. BTW - - - We decided that since this Tea Tree OIl Shampoo is so good, we would also try Swanson's Ultra Tea Tree Oil Conditioner. It worked out great, and for the horse, too. We give this combo two thumbs up!! June 10, 2013
Leaves scalp feeling fresh and clean Not only is this product priced well below many popular brands, I like the fresh, tingling feeling that my scalp is left with after application. My hair not only is clean but it feels clean. Recommend purchase of the conditioner also--if bought together the shampoo and conditioner offer additional price value. April 26, 2013
Best Shampoo Ive tried in a long time! My mother-n-law gave us this shompoo a few christmas' ago. Tired the stuff and the conditioner too -- loved em both from the start! Sure Ive tired others shampoos since but have always went back. In my book - the value and price are by far the best!! I use this shampoo every time I shower and it does clean my hair -- and it smells pretty good too! Thanks Swanson and Mom !! April 13, 2013
good value The shampoo does a good job of cleaning, leaves little residue, contains little of the chemicals other shampoos use, goes a long way, works well especially with my oily hair condition. The amt. of herbal ingredients is ample. April 8, 2013
Satisfied with results I'm very pleased with how this shampoo cleans and leaves my hair manageable. Will continue to order as needed. March 29, 2013
liked other formula better I've been using Swanson Tea Tree Oil Shampoo for years with great satisfaction. However, something has changed. The new formula is thinner and it seems like I use more to clean my hair. Will be looking for another product. March 26, 2013
My holy grail of shampoos I always had a bad problem with scalp odor, even only after a few hours of taking a shower. I no longer have a problem with that thanks to this shampoo! I guess regular shampoos have some sort of chemical in them that doesn't like my scalp. For having no sulfates whatsoever, this shampoo lathers great. It keeps my hair clean the longest out of any other shampoo. Only drawback is that there's no scent AT ALL, and I like my hair to smell pretty haha. I highly recommend! March 10, 2013
Unique Product Because it is so effective at stripping all the grime from one's hair, Tree Tea Oil Shampoo may have more cleaning power than any other shampoo. However, it stripped too much of the natural oil from my hair as well, leaving my locks in knots, so I needed a large comb to work out the knots; but, doing that created split ends. The split ends in turn required my use of a good conditioner. For years I hadn't had to apply conditioner until I used Tree Tea Oil Shampoo. "Regardless of my experience, I would think this product is a good choice for those who sweat a lot; often perform manual labor; are subjected to dust and other airborne particles as part of their daily work, sports or other activities; or have an over abundance of natural oil in their hair that they would like to control. February 27, 2013
Safe & Effective I have been using this shampoo since the reformulated version came out, and I think it works great. I am thrilled that they took the parabens and SLS out. I have short hair and use approximately 1 tsp for the first shampoo, and if it needs a second one, I use 1/2 tsp and get plenty of lather. I follow with Swanson's Tea Tree Conditioner, rinse and my hair feels great. Occasionally I use pure Aloe Vera Gel (maybe a tablespoon) worked through my hair before I dry with a diffuser, and the natural curl comes out beautifully. January 28, 2013
Good lathering shampoo I have been using this product for over two months and found that it lathers up as well as the old product that contained parabens. The viscosity is nearly as low as water, but less than a tablespoon full in the palm of my hand is all that is required. December 31, 2012
