Rated 5 out of 5 by fanofSwanson Love this lecithin!
I had quit using lecithin when I gave up soy, and have been SO happy with this sunflower lecithin! I use it every day, it's so much better (easier) than choking down big lecithin capsules. It's not only great in smoothies, it is indispensable when making homemade salad dressings. Thank you Swanson!

We use this lecithin with vitamin C powder to increase absorption. We appreciate that its source is not from soy and that it is non GMO. This lecithin is also a good very value when it is on sale.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tomsam No container seal
I am very glad to have non-GMO sunflower lecithin available from a quality supplier like Swanson, however:
I hope this has been fixed when I reorder, but the containers I recently received had no outer seal, and the inner cardboard seals were so lightly attached that they came off when I unscrewed the lids. One lid was loose, and lecithin coated the inside of the shipping box. Any product like this should have at least a firm outer or inner seal, and preferably both (which is common).
I contacted customer service, and they promised to look into it.

I tried this so that I would be using less soy products, but I was not pleased with the texture or taste. Went back to a soy lecithin that I knew I liked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Geenga I'm addicted to this stuff
I love to add small amounts sunflower lecithin to soup, popcorn, homemade chocolate, shakes, etc. I love the taste of it, but I only put in a small amount when making things for my family, and they don't even taste it. My digestion seems improved since I've been taking it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by debihop Non GMO sunflower lecithin powder
I had my doubts when I opened the container and saw the light brown powder staring back at me; I was about to add it to my morning coffee; along with some coconut oil and a dash of 1/2&1/2; and some liquid Stevia for sweetener..... I took the plunge and whizzed it all together with my handy battery operated stir stick, gave it a nice frothy head and then took a sip ------ pure awesomeness! It helps emulsify everything together into a creamy, frothy coffee beverage that rivals anything I've purchased from a drive through coffee stand! I am going to definitely be a return customer on this product!

I have used this product for several years and prefer it to soy lecithin. Blends well in smoothies. I only use it with foods and other products blended in a morning smoothie. I have never tried to mix it in a glass. Would think you have to use a blender.

It's good to have an alternative to non-gmo soy lecithin but if Swanson really wants to promote health they should make an effort to provide organic alternatives. Especially with this item, since organic sunflower seeds are very easy to find and reasonably priced.

Good quality lecithin as far as I can tell. I believe its been processed using Hexane which is not so great, but I prefer this to messing with soy.

Others have mentioned that the powder has a tendency to form globules when stirred into liquid.
I had the same complaint until it occurred to me to wisk the powder in the liquid and it's as smooth as....you fill in the blank
If you wish to thank me for this idea you can do so by kissing the one you love....or anyone close by.
