Certified Organic Raw Cacao Nibs
these are unsweetened
Don't expect a sweet treat with these as they are 100% cacaco. The flavor reminds me of the 100% cacao bars from Lindt which are a bit cheaper but those are not organic.

Chocolate Cravings Gone
I was so delighted with the taste of these nibs because sometimes cacao is bitter, I mix them with some dried coconut and between the chocolate taste and coconut crunch, it is just YUMMY! Also the price simply can't be beat, thanks Swanson's.

We have never put anything in our mouths that tasted worse than Certified Organic Raw Cacao Nibs. They are truly horrible!

Certified Organic Raw Cacao Nibs
little to no chocolatey taste, dried and crunchy and wont disolve or melt easily. Hard to find a way to use it due to this. Will not rebuy, will buy powder instead.

Great for snacking, baking or topping on ice cream.

Just a few of these nibs add variety, texture, and interest to my homemade trail mix. The bitterness of unsweetened cacao is easily balanced by a little unsweetened dried fruit; the nibs are a small size which works well for this kind of mixing. The whole is very pleasing and you get the benefits and depth of flavor without the refined sugar. They are a bit pricey, but a little goes a long way for me.

I don't eat Chocolate anymore.
I ordered this product after reading article about the benefit of organic Raw cacao Nibs. I used to eat Chocolate bars when I get tired or something sweat on my mouth. Since I used this Cacao Nibs in my NutriBullet mixer with other vegetables and fruit, I feel really energized throughout the day. The taste is so great and real good chocolate without sugar sweat taste in the drink. I am almost out of this product and need to order again. I can trust Swanson's quality products.

Swanson Cacao Nibs
These are my FAVORITE cacao nibs, much tastier than the 'brand names' I've tried and an excellent value. Add them to my morning smoothie every day!

Good value but switching to powder
I mostly use the nibs for smoothies. If I blend real well I can get them finely ground. Since I have decided to pay less for cocao powder and it gives me a better smoothie. I believe the powder is no less beneficial than the nibs or whole beans.

Chocolate that's good for you!!
Wow! These are good. We use them to sprinkle on our cereal or in a muffin recipe, etc. They add a nice crunch and a lovely flavor. I feel a slight boost in my energy and mood when I eat them, too - bonus!!

It's chocolate ...
... and I'm a woman. It's GOOD! What did you think I would say?!
Seriously, the first bite surprised me a bit, due to the lack of sweetness. Now, I love it! I put a little bit in a bowl with some raspberries and nuts. Makes a great snack and provides my chocolate fix!

Great in Trail Mix
I add these to our "energy" trail mix as they are supposed to boost metabolism. They are a nice flavor addition. Not too bitter when combined with the nuts and dried fruit. And, a little goes a long way. Great price, too!

You either love it ...
...or not. I Love it. I mix it in with my yogurt; can't wait to try the nibs in brownies. If you mix it in your yogurt, the nibs get softer.

High Fiber! Cacao makes me as happy as eating a chocolate bar does, yummy. What's not to love! If not sweet enough, sprinkle a little stevia powder over it and mix it in with nuts or into oatmeal. I have made brownies with this and the Swanson cocoa powder: DELICIOUS.

Good cacao at a great price, in true Swanson fashion! I love these -- I add them to homemade granola and other baked goods. They are a bit bitter at first if you're used to sweet and/or milk chocolate, but once your taste buds adjust, you taste and appreciate them for what they are -- chocolate in its purest form!

Affordable raw organic cacao nibs!
This product is a terrific value. I have used it in smoothies, raw blender bottle shakes, raw bars and snack balls (mixed with Raw Perfect Food, honey or stevia, seeds and vegan protein powder). I wasn't crazy about the flavor compared to other raw cacao nibs, it isn't bad, just different, but I was crazy about the texture and especially the FANTASTIC price.

What you expect
Kind of silly when reviewers eat this product and expect CANDY. As found in nature cocoa beans are indeed bitter. This product is fermented, either on purpose or incidentally, and that is a strong taste one must accept, in addition to "bitter". There's also a slight crudeness to the texture. But I pop a few nibs in the maw, and a few raisins and it's great that way. Soon I'll be mixing up a healthy candy bar: nibs, coconut butter, raisins, and raw nuts, maybe pistachios. No sugar, no agave. Long live nibs!

organic raw cacao nibs
easy to add to smoothies as well as baked items- has slighly bitter/nutty flavor if eaten alone.

I was disappointed to see poor reviews for this product, that was until I read them. These nibs are straight cacao, which is not naturally sweet. If that's what you are looking for then you would be better served with a candy bar.
These Nibs are wonderful for those of us looking for the benefits it provides without the processing and sugar used in so much of what is available on the market.
For a real treat add a handful when blending your favorite smoothie. YUM!

This is a superb product, but if you've never tried raw cacao before, you may be surprised by the bitterness. I personally love the taste, not as bitter as coffee beans. I put them in a healthy rice pudding recipe I make in the crock pot. They don't melt and keep their solid texture if heated. I order them regularly...always have them on hand!
