Cooking Instructions:
1 cup of NOW Real Food® Organic Amaranth.
2 ½ cups of water
- Rinse organic amaranth thoroughly under cold running water.
- Combine amaranth and water into a pot.
- Bring to a boil then cover with tight fitting lid.
- Reduce heat to low and allow amaranth to simmer for 20 minutes or until grains are fluffy and water absorbs.

Great productgood product
I use this all the time in gluten-free waffles I make for my son (mainly buckwheat & oats, some amaranth, teff, and flax). I have also cooked it up as a separate grain, and it works fine.New to me
Loved the flavor, but I followed the directions exactly, but the water never absorbed. It came out like porridge even using the correct amount of water. But this is a new product for me. I may have done something wrong.
