I could feel it working almost immediately! I took it without water and liked the taste. I also liked the fact that it is gluten free and alcohol free.I have used valerian root for years, but...
I have used valerian root, in the past and it has always worked, to some extent. To my misfortune, I tried this and another brand of sugar and alcohol-free valerian, neither of which have worked one iota! There's probably something to the alcohol extraction method that makes it viable.Smells like a Foot, Works like a Dream
This Valerian root extract smells and tastes pretty offensive. The taste is actually not as noticeable as the distinct smell of an old foot that emanates from the contianer once opened. As horrible as that sounds, ingesting the product is not really that difficult and I've noticed more restful, uninterrupted sleep after using this. Definitely worth the off-putting taste for when I need a good night's sleep.
