INGREDIENTS: Sweet Brown Rice Flour, Tapioca Starch, Arrowroot Powder, Frice Syrup Solids (Rice Protein, Natural Mixed Tocopherols {Added to Maintain Freshness}), Cream of Tartar, Baking Soda, Salt and Ground Vanilla Bean.
you will need:
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- water or milk (any kind)
Directions for one batch of waffles
- Combine 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons oil, ¾ cup water or milk (any kind). Add to 2 cups of dry mix. Blend well. Add more liquid, if needed.
- Preheat waffle iron to medium (350°F) heat. Spray preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Pour batter onto waffel iron to cover bottom. Cook until golden brown. Serve hot. Yield: 5-6 waffles.
Directions for one batch of pancakes
- Follow: directions above decreasing water to ½ cup. (If you like your pancakes thinner, you can add more liquid). Batter will thicken as it stands.
- Pour onto preheated sprayed pan or griddle. Cook until bubbly on top edges and golden on bottom. Filp and cook until golden on bottom. Yield: 6-8 pancakes. Add favorite toppings and enjoy!
Notes: Both waffles and pancakes can be frozen and reated in toaster or toaster oven.
Adding spices and fruit such as cinnamon and berries makes a tasty addition!
