Great reusable pads
I bought two of these night pads and they are all black, not bright colors like the picture shows. (Prior to buying these I had only ever used disposable products.) These reusable pads are really great. They are way more comfortable than disposable pads. They do what they are supposed to do and I have not experienced any problems with them. I wish I had bought these years ago!Description and preliminary results
Unwashed, a brand new one will measure from 14 to 14 3/8' long by 3 3/8' wide (not counting wings). (I just measured two different ones and there was a 3/8' discrepancy in their lengths.) The accompanying inserts measure 7 1/4' long by 2 1/2' wide. The material appears to be flannel. There is no plastic/nylon backing. The overall shape is similar to a stretched hourglass or a bit bow-tie-ish. The 3 3/8' width measurement is from the narrow middle.I bought one previously and have used it twice. I found it comfortable and effective and have come back and ordered two more. I did use mine as back up to a tampon, not solo, so I'm not positive about it's over-all effectiveness. Just to note, Swanson's does not appear to allow posted reviews to be edited by the writer at a later time.I would not recommend it to a friend only because I do not talk about this type of product with my friends.Cotton Cloth Pads
I love these reusable pads. I was so impressed with the quality that I ordered 3 more boxes. There is only 1 pad per box with 2 extra inserts, but still worth the cost. In the long run you will save lots of money. I use them for light incontinence and they work great. You can also use a disposable pad with these for extra protection if needed. Only the cloth will touch your skin. I recommend the NatraCare pads which are made especially for sensitive skin with no bleach or harmful chemicals in the pads.
