Preparation: Place one tea bag in a cup and add 8 oz of boiling water. Cover and steep for 7 minutes. Gently squeeze tea bag and remove. (For a stronger tea, steep for an additional 3-4 minutes.)
Directions for use: Adults consume 1 cup daily, preferably at bedtime. Do not consume more than one cup daily, or for longer than one week unless directed by a doctor. Do not give to children.
Add sweetener if desired.
NOTICE: This product contains senna. Read and follow directions carefully. Do not use if you have or develop diarrhea, loose stools, or abdominal pain because senna may worsen these conditions and be harmful to your health. Consult your physician if you have frequent diarrhea or if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or have a medical condition.

i have used senna tea's now for approximately 8 years or so, and they all have worked fairly well. But, these other brands were 'a little bit harsh' on my system. However, this brand Alvita from Swanson is definitely 'smooth' on the system, and not 'harsh'. You cannot over-steep this tea! Love this product. Thanks
