Cellulose is a natural source of insoluble fiber. Unlike soluble fiber, insoluble fiber does not feed undesirable bacteria well and is not readily fermented into short chain fatty acids. It has no effect on cholesterol levels and inactivates many intestinal toxins. High intake of insoluble fiber is associated with colon health.

Dietary Fiber Cellulose 5 5 1 1
fiber this is just fiber, only net fiber, not a thickener, it got no taste, I used it in my "meatballs/burgers/meatloafs" and other vegy preps, but now I like it only in soups, not for texture, not for flavor, just make the soup look a bit better February 6, 2014
