  • Natural source of antioxidants

  • Cassava root source

  • Hypoallergenic

The power of antioxidants in a versatile powder form! NutriCology's Buffered Vitamin C Powder contains high-purity ascorbic acid buffered with carbonates of potassium, calcium and magnesium. Buffered C has an acid-alkaline buffering action that can help control the increased acidity often associated with allergic reactions. Cassava, or Manihot esculenta, is a bushy South American shrub with long tuberous roots, which are traditionally eaten like potatoes. Cassava root starch serves as the starting material for a multi-step chemical process of manufacturing ascorbic acid. The cassava root-sourced vitamin C is processed with corn-derived ingredients and is generally well tolerated by corn-allergic individuals. Developed by Stephen A. Levine, Ph.D.

tastes horrible and is gritty but gets the job done July 10, 2013
good stuff I appreciate the fact that this is in powdered form and thus more assimilable. The taste is strange, but not objectionable, kind of mineral-y. Easy to mix and swallow down. May 3, 2013
Doesn't hurt my stomach Love this product. I have trouble taking pure vitamin C as it makes my stomach ache. Had no problems w/ this product. It has a slight "fizz" to it. I add it to apple juice mixed w/ a bit of Mega Green juice. Tastes wonderful! Gives me the energy boost I need. July 25, 2012
