Rated 5 out of 5 by pinkdye633 Fine Texture, Mild Flavor
Nutiva's coconut flour has been a welcome change for us. We have been baking grain free for years and really enjoying almond flour as a base; however, with almond flour's increase in price we either had to cut down on baked goods or find an alternative. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of converting almond flour recipes to coconut flour and really thrilled when the baked goods had an even nicer texture than they had originally! So, not only is the price great, but the quality is also fantastic. The flour arrives fresh with a fine powdery grind that is perfect for use alone or alongside other ingredients to make breads, cakes, gravies, sauces, muffins...... I have not found any applications where it has not succeeded. This must be due to the quality of processing and the mild flavor this particular flour has.

I have zero experience with paleo/gluten free baking and purchased this flour base solely on price. I think the flavor is quite strong...objectionably so in a savory baked good. I didn't care for the finished product at all, tho my husband thought it was OK. I think the flavor might meld better with something sweet but I haven't tried it yet. I recently purchased another brand for comparison but it hasn't arrived yet.

This was my first time using coconut flour. I enjoy the taste and texture, and the experimentation required to find recipes in which to use this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RMB4 Better than Bob's!
This is a great product. It has a much finer grind than Bob's Red Mill with hardly any large grains left when sifting. The three pound package is a great value. The only downside is that you need to put it in an airtight container as coconut flour can dry out if you keep it in the bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by laughingwater Tasty and Nutritious
I am sold on coconut flour, and this is a good price for it. The nutritional benefits alone make it work getting. I did some research to find out how to use it. For baking, I use 6 eggs per 1 cup of coconut flour. Instead of adding sweetener or oils, I add more fruit. My recipe called for baking powder, instead of baking soda. I recommend trying the coconut flour with bananas to make a tasty bread or muffins. (Frozen bananas work fine.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Yogigirl Nutiva is the best!
Baking grain free has been exciting as I explore all the great recipes online using one of my favorite flours, coconut flour. You use a very small amount in each recipe with lots of healthy eggs and your baked goods turn out better than the finest bakery in town! Swanson offers many of my favorite Organic products for such a great price verses buying in the stores which is very expensive and inconvenient. Look for Maria Emmerich's bread recipe online for a great tasting buns, breadsticks, subs and pizza crusts using coconut flour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PCSecurityLady Best price found for Org. Coconut Flour!
"I depend on coconut flour for use in gluten-free baking and getting ORGANIC flour for such a good price is valuable to me. The Nutiva brand is excellent, bakes well, and having it as a 3-pack adds to the convenience and makes it easier on my “nutrition and food budget”. I depend on getting quality products that are not only healthy for my family, but also easy on the budget. Nutiva brand at Swanson Vitamin prices beats the price offered on other sites. THAT’s why I purchased it here.
This must be also popular with other consumers, as this not in stock at the time I ordered online (was back-ordered) and there was a significant amount of time for the coconut flour to arrive. BUT…the price here on Swanson made the wait well worth it

Nutiva's coconut flour is a good quality product at a reasonable price, especially considering all of the hype and excessive cost now associated with the benefits of coconut flour.
