Stainless Steel 40 oz Water Bottle
Good Bottle ........ But....
I bought 3 of these they are a reasonable and hold 40 oz. for the price fairly sturdy. 2 froze in the car (emergency water), one had too much water and the screw top pushed out, the bottom rounded also. The top was dented on the bottom bur still screwed into the bottle and sealed well. I pounded the bottle on a 2x4 and flattened it out. The bottle still works fine.
Why I did not give them all 5 * is they rusted the first time I filled them (all of them) I cleaned them out and filled them again. I left them for a week and there was no new rust. I had water in them for 2 months and no rust. I am thinking of getting another one. I went through the water traveling out west too quickly.
I would try cleaning drying and cleaning them again before I left any water in them I was going to drink. I would also put water in them for 5 days to a week then check for rust. If there is rust clean it out as well as you can and fill the bottle again to see if the rust stopped before putting them into use. They should give good service after that.

A good value
Although it doesn't specify that it is BPA-free, I think this bottle is not coated with plastic on the inside like some stainless steel bottles, though I can't be certain. The underside of the lid is also steel, so your water doesn't contact any plastic. I am frustrated trying to find a bottle that guarantees that it contains no plastic and is exclusively stainless steel, but hopefully this bottle solves that problem.
