Best Chyawanprash Hands Down! I have tried at least 6 different brands of Chyawanprash, some were bitter, some were grainy, some way too expensive for the quantity. Hands-down, this is the best Chyawanprash I have found. It dissolves well in hot drinks, is the perfect blend of sweet and spice (reminds me a little of Chai spice flavor). I've shopped just about everywhere on the internet for this product and Swanson's prices and shipping time are by far the best. Chyawanprash is not cheap so finding a quality brand that tastes good is very important. I love, love, love Ayurbest, it is by far my favorite of all the brands I have tried over the past few years. I dissolve it in my 1 cup of daily fair trade coffee with ½ tsp of raw honey and top it off with a little chocolate almond milk, it's an awesome way to start my day! April 1, 2014
90% sugar..... Delicious? It's loaded with sugar according to it's misleading ingredients list..... July 25, 2013
Praas I use this product daily. It is delicious and can be used on toast. I use it to sweeten plain Greek yogurt in the mornings. I feel good after eating it and would recommend this product to others. April 7, 2013
Yummy Youthfulness I've always been a fan of Chyavanprash as the pinnacle of Ayurvedic medicine, and Praas is not only an excellent incarnation of this formula, it is made with fresh amalaki, the key ingredient; this means its vitamin C content is superior to other brands, and despite this extra quality, Praas costs less than most other brands of chyavanprash. It's also so delicious you have a hard time not eating the whole jar at once, and kids should love it. I highly recommend it if you have to choose just one supplement to take. You'll notice a difference right away! February 7, 2013
Label is Unclear When I opened this jar, I was shocked to see that the "jam" was about 3/4 inch below the narrower band where the lid screws on. There was residue above that, so it looked as if it had lost moisture and was condensed. Then, I found it to be very thick; more like a paste than a jam. I finally read the label and found that it should be kept at room temp, so hopefully that will help. The label is also very confusing. It says the serving size is 1 teaspoon, and there are 30 servings per container; that would only be a little over 1/2 cup (.625 cup). There must be more than 30 teaspoons in this 1.1 lb. container. The serving suggestion says to use 1-2 teaspoons 1-2 times per day. Is that where they get the 30 servings per container? If that's the case, is the 60 calories per serving based on 1 tsp. or the potential 4 tsp. from the serving suggestion? Too many questions are unanswered; this is the most confusing label I've ever seen, December 26, 2012
This product is amazing and it taste delicious... December 6, 2012

I love it! This is great! I do feel energized after I eat it. I put it on toast with ghee and honey and it's good! The flavor was different at first but I like it. May 4, 2011
