Great for baking your favorite sweets, Bob's Red Mill Carob Powder can be used as a substitute for cocoa. Carob powder comes from finely ground, dried and toasted pods of the carob tree. It is a healthy alternative to cocoa that is low in calories and contains no fat. Carob is an excellent substitute in cakes, cookies and candy. Just replace one part cocoa in recipes with one and one-half to two parts carob by weight. All natural.
