Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful for baking and frying. I purchased this for a couple of reasons. First, we've gone gluten free for my husband's sake and needed several new staples for baking and cooking. I do make my own GF flour mix using rice flour, potato starch, and tapioca starch. Bob's Potato Starch is very smooth and works wonderfully. It is also great at thickening gravies with a nice body and flavor. I also grew up using potato starch as a coating for deep frying - it makes it crispy. This is a wonderful alternative to Japanese katakuri potato starch and at a much better price. So glad Swanson's carries it as I cannot find it locally anymore. January 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love my Resistant Starch! I've been supplementing with 4 Tbls of this starch daily for about 3 weeks. I had read about resistant starch extensively at a couple of prominent paleo blogs, and decided to give it a try. My sleep and dreaming have improved, my bowel habits have normalized, and my mental clarity, mood, and energy are better. This is a regimen I'll continue. Adding probiotics containing soil-based organisms along with the starch, I feel like my gut microbiome is healing over time. I mix the starch in kefir, yogurt, or almond/coconut milk, and it is very palatable. I'm very happy with the quality of this product and the results of supplementation with it. August 14, 2014
