Question: I usually take Q-gel CoQ10, but I noticed that Ubiquinol, the newer form of CoQ10, is less expensive. I like what I’m taking, but I’m thinking about switching. Why is there such a big price difference?
We’re so glad to read that you’re taking good care of yourself by supplementing with CoQ10. As you know, we offer a wide variety of the best CoQ10 products for our customers. Some people prefer certain brands and certain delivery systems, such as softgels, capsules or chewables. Some people may need specific forms for better absorption, depending on age, lifestyle and other factors. Everybody's body is different, as evidenced by the product reviews for CoQ10. Ultimately, the decision to try another form of CoQ10 rests with you.
It sounds like the primary factor in your decision is price. Many factors figure into the prices of all our products, including negotiations with suppliers and manufacturers of patented or trademarked ingredients—such as Q-gel and Ubiquinol. Two different companies manufacture these ingredients, Tishcon and Kaneka respectively, which helps explain the price difference. We try to pass on any savings we can muster to you—through special promotions and even on the everyday low price. We also keep an eye (or two) on what our competitors are doing.
These superior products meet our stringent quality standards, and we're pleased to offer them both to you. Keep in mind our goal is to always offer you the highest-quality products at the lowest possible prices—with the best possible customer service imaginable.
