What is the Difference Between B-Complex and Brewer's Yeast?
Vitamins and Supplements FAQs • April 17, 2011
This is a great question. Typically your B-complex vitamins will be sourced from brewer’s yeast or nutritional yeast. The B-complex vitamins are isolated from the yeast and then purified to remove pretty much all of the residual yeast components other than the B-complex vitamins themselves. Brewer’s yeast will contain B-complex vitamins, as well as protein, fiber, some minerals and also RNA and DNA.
