Spicy Hummus

  1. Blend garbanzo beans, garlic powder and tahini nut butter in a food processor until it becomes paste-like, adding a few tablespoons of water if needed.
  2. Add cayenne pepper, cumin and lemon juice, and pulse again until combined. With the motor running slowly, add the extra virgin olive oil until it is emulsified. Add the parsley leaves and pulse until combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Transfer to a bowl and serve with pita bread or chips.
