Licorice Root Tea
I watched Dr Oz one day and he was recommending licorice root tea. I had only been acquainted with the candy licorice and didn't know it was a root…sweeter than sugar cane. So, when I discovered Swanson's had the product; I decided to try it. I was very surprised with the flavor and the special sweet after taste; which really satisfied my sweet tooth. It's a nice sipping tea which helps me to feel happy and satisfied. I'll be keeping this one for sure.

Licorice Root Tea
This tea is very sweet and doesn't have much of a flavor otherwise, but I find it soothing and tasty.

I finished a big foil bag of cut and sifted licorice root and figured at this price there was something to be said for the convenience of individual filter bags. It was advertised as clearance,so I figured it would be nearly expired. Wrong, it was fresh. In fact, the date was over two years away... which seems too long. Anyway, the product is fine, another happy customer.

I've recently started to use your Licorice Tea in a bag it works well in my teapot of mixed herbal teas. I can really taste the licorice. I hope you continue to carry it.

IS IT TEA YET?
Alvita puts out a consistently high quality herbal tea product. Good true flavor in good bags. I make a big "brew" of half dozen, or so, different herbs, including green tea, that gives me 3 or 4 quarts of an herbal tea concoction, which I consume over a week, or so, as iced tea. I never add sugar or sweetener. Sometimes a squirt of lemon.
This Licorice Tea is naturally sweet, and as such it is good by itself, and it also adds a unique flavor and sweetness when I include it in my herbal tea concoction.
I am actually a coffee drinker. . . . I grind my beans fresh for each pot made in my French Press. I like it full bodied, dark, and strong, and I drink it black to enjoy the true, rich flavor. So for me to be making big pots of herb tea is pretty different. The herbs and resultant tea need to be special.
An honest-to-goodness tea drinking pro would cringe at the way I brew up my big pot of herb "tea." I bring the pot of water with the herbs to a boil for a minute, or so, and then I simmer with a lid on for 30 minutes or more. In reality, I'm making a potent herbal concoction, so I want the most out of the herbs. . . . As opposed to having "proper tea." For want of a better name, I'm just calling it tea.
Anyway, it is good. Alvita is a good and reliable brand. This Licorice Tea is definitely a good, sweetish Licoricey flavor. And Swanson's discount price is tealightful.

Sweet without the sugar
Highly recommend this tea. It's one of the stronger licorice teas I've tried. Great sweet aftertaste. Can get a good 3 flavorful cups out of one teabag if I don't let the bag sit forever. Never seen this particular Alvita product in my local stores and Swanson was quick to deliver and low-priced.
