Easily absorbable form of magnesium. Doesn't give you the runs like some other forms.

The taste is terrible ,but I think it is the best under the list of Magnesium.

This tablet melts and falls apart in very little humidity, a very messy, bad-tasting disaster for me.

Great product at a very reasonable price. Magnesium Chloride is the most absorbable magnesium of all. Very happy with this product..

A great product
I bought this product to my mom. She is an older person and she is feeling very good since she is taking it. This product is an excellent dietary supplement. Thank you.

Been using for years!
My Dr. told me to try Magnesium to help me sleep, since I won't take Pharmaceuticals. He said I need to take at least 800 mg before bed. After much research, I found that Magnesium Choloride will not cause the flushing out of the colon and is the most easily absorbed. This helps my muscles to calm so that I can sleep and I'm glad to know I am getting much needed magnesium. Thank you Swanson's!

FINALLY found the BEST magnesium
So glad I found this product. It actually raised my serum magnesium levels where others failed -- even the vaunted chelated varieties such as glycinate. Salty-tasting tablets, but I just swish 'em down fast with a bunch of water so I barely notice and it's not unpleasant at all. To avoid possible disintegration -- especially in hot or humid weather -- just keep the lid tightly closed and DON'T attempt to store them anywhere except in the original bottle, even briefly. Make sure your hands are completely dry when you take them (though slight "shedding" would be no big deal). And of course leave the dessicant packet in there.

excellent product in a bad form
I found that magnesium chloride is the best-absorbed with the fewest gastrointestinal side effects. That said, this pill is chalky, crumbly, and scrapes and sticks in your throat, and tastes awful to boot. Why can't they make it in a caplet shape, and coat it with a bit of gelatin? It wouldn't take much, and it would mean a world of difference to those trying to choke down 300 mg.!

Good Choice Magnesium
I have tried a number of Magnesium products and found this one easier on the system and without the usual flushing of the digestive tract. That's a big plus and one less side effect that I can easily do without!

Blood test revealed I was low on magnesium. I used several other more expensive products before learning that magnesium chloride is the most effective form. One daily tablet & I feel much better & my labs show a magnesium increase. Swanson's has great prices, as always.

Effective but very messy
This type of Magnesium was suggested as highly absorbable and effective. Let me tell you it is! It practically crumbles when taking it out of the container. Don't put it in your daily vitamin reminder with other pills as the moisture from gel caps will break it down quickly as it is a hard tablet that will crumble if you just look at it wrong. I think it is doing what it's supposed to do. Along with my multiple times per day himalayan salt solution and getting more magnesium into my body I am really on my way to sleeping better. This in itself is a really big deal. Off to get some zzzzzzz'ssss
