Toms of Maine Cleansing Mouthwash I've tried a few different mouthwashes and this one is by far the best mouthwash and at a very reasonable price. I usually fill the cap half full with the mouthwash and then add warm water to fill the cap. This makes the mouthwash last a wee bit longer. February 24, 2013
Tom's is going DOWN HILL First thing.... when has anyone ever been worried about GLUTEN in their mouth wash? Since colegate bought Tom's of Maine it has been getting progressively worse and worse. I used to use all their products. Bought them locally but I used them. This mouth wash is just the first example. It tastes okay but it doesn't do squat to disinfect your mouth, I thought the old recipe had all natural ingredients to do this instead of alcohol. Then their toothpastes changed too. Noticed it wasn't leaving my teeth as clean, or as white... and the taste was kind of cruddy. I would recommend avoiding Tom's of Maine on pretty much everything now. Just go to their web site and read the horrible comments. New owners don't care about us any more. Wish I had noticed that Swanson's carried before tonight. Prices here are much better than what I was paying at Whole Foods. P.S. I was a big supporter of Tom's until now. Used to buy: -toothpaste -mouthwash -dental floss -soap -shaving creme -deodorant But not any more. May 27, 2011
