There are several types of black teas to choose from, but Tao of Tea chose a fine grade of Assam organic black tea that is full-bodied, smooth and rich in taste (and towards the stronger end of the caffeine spectrum). Quality
The price was low for whole leaf tea, but the quality reflected that price. The smell was strong and pleasant, but taste was bland. And brews surprisingly weak for whole leaf. I would not recommend it to a friend simply because I have had better, not because it isn't any good.
