Four synergistic ingredients combine to counteract stress and promote restful sleep. The formula starts with Relora, a patented herbal blend that helps normalize stress-related hormones. The next ingredient is Suntheanine L-Theanine, a patented amino acid (derived from green tea) that promotes mental and physical relaxation. Rounding out the formula are melatonin and ZMA, a vitamin and mineral blend made up of zinc, magnesium and vitamin B-6.

Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take one capsule 30 minutes before bed. Two capsules may be taken if desired. For best results, avoid taking with foods or supplements containing calcium.

Superior to Melatonin on its own I have been using Swanson Ultra Natural Sleep Formula for over a year now, on a nightly basis after 20 years of taking straight Melatonin regularly. I find the combination of Melatonin and other ingredients in this formula offers a more prolonged effect of relaxation and ability to fall asleep, stay asleep, and fall into sleep again after waking in the night. It is more expensive that Melatonin on its own, but worth the added cost, especially for those of us who are aging and/or going through menopause, and find that a good night's sleep is more elusive than in our youth. Sleep like a baby This really works well for me, but I think everyone is different in their sleep patterns and what helps or hinders. It didn't help my husband at all so I tried it and used up the whole bottle. It's gentle, so you don't feel like you've been hit on the head with a mallet. My nighttime lullaby This formula will not knock you out, but, instead imparts a nice, relaxed state which lets you drift off more easily. On the occasional night I need a little less tension- this is my nighttime "lullaby"! I recommend taking about an hour before bedtime with some chamomile tea- soothing! April 8, 2011
Deep Sleep As recommended at one capsule, this supplement makes sleep amazingly deep. If you want and like to dream vividly, this is the product for you. A plus is that you will not wake feeling drowsy like many sleep supplements. November 7, 2010

It works! I wouldn't recommend taking it every night (just b/c I wouldn't recommend taking anything every night to get to sleep) but if you need a good sleep this will help relax you and give you a really good sleep. You will wake up rested and refreshed. March 1, 2010
