Good Amount of N-Zimes
Cooked food does not have any enzymes left. Therefore, we must supplement. Swanson's full spectrum enzymes works very well for me. Taking one-two capsules immediately before each meal, I can feel it working especially when I eat a large meal containing starch and protein. Good product at a reasonable price. Thanks.

Necessary

I Like the Added "Cerecalase" for Fiber Digestion
I have 2 enzyme blends that I take regularly with meals---both are from Swanson. I really like this blend since it includes the Cerecalase enzyme for breaking down fibrous foods. I can't take bromelain or papaya enzymes, so finding other enzymes that work so well is such a relief!

GOOD DIGESTION IS MOST IMPORTANT
There are many good, and also not so good, digestive enzymes on the market. Swanson has many of their own formulas, as well as those from all the other companies that they carry. This Swanson Ultra Full Spectrum N-Zimes happens to be one of the good ones. However, that being said, everyone's system and digestive tract, as well as their diets vary greatly, so no single digestive enzyme product can be touted as the absolutely best for every person and every person's diet. I like this product for me. However, I also keep a couple of other digestive enzyme products on hand, knowing my body, and what I need, based upon what I have eaten. For overall, general, healthful eating, I personally am of the opinion that this Swanson Full Spectrum Enimes product will work well. Try it for yourself. I find that I take from 1 to 3 capsules after a meal, depending upon what I have eaten. Good and proper digestion has a tremendous effect on one's overall health and wellbeing. Go with good digestive enzymes that work well for you.

Enzymes make our life possible. In order to better absorb the foods and supplements we take, and enable vitamins, minverals or hormones to do their work for us, we need to have enzymes first...

I take digestive enzymes because I know they help break down food and it helps me get enzymes that are lacking in my everyday food choices. But I didn't give excellent ratings on most of the choices, simply because most of the time I cant tell if anything is actually happening or making a difference! But I do appreciate Swanson's excellent prices on their products.

Great Quality, Especially For The Price!
As a nutritional consultant, I generally recommend individuals over 40 years of age use good quality, plant-based digestive enzymes. These fit the bill for much less than comparable brands.
I use these digestive enzymes, as well as Swanson's Probiotic Complex to maintain GI health.
