Works Great! Very Effective!
I've used other (and more costly) digestive enzymes before, from nutritionists and doctors, but after trying these I realize they were not nearly as effective. I had to take several pills at a time and I still didn't get the results I do from these. I'm very impressed. I did experiment with taking 2 instead of 1 before a big meal, however I found later that it was not needed. These are quite strong, just 1 and done. As instructions state, it's better to take it at the start of the meal, but they still work well even if taken later.

It realy helps.
Even when I feel I can't handle something spicy or acidic, this stuff takes all that away. I quit coffee this year and I can take these enzymes b4 and have my decaf expresso now! It does smell a bit strong, but believe me... this is the best one I have had.

Best digestive I can find
Have tried many "digestive enzyme" type products. Keep coming back to this one, as no others seem to do the job as well. Occasionally I may take one *after*, as well as before, a meal, if it feels needed. Always seems to bring relief [less burping!], smoother digestion. Wish Swanson could bring the price down or offer specials once in a while on it, but it is still a decent value. Swanson: Please do NOT change the ingredients--unless any are from China--in which case, please find a more trustworthy source of same. Thank you.

Digestion Helper
My husband and I take several supplements each day and want to make sure we get the most benefit from them. We have taken this product for several years and are very satisfied with it, and feel it helps us get the most benefit from the vitamins and supplements we take along with helping us digest our food better.

I like this product because of the list of ingredients in one capsule and the results I get taking it. Definitely eases digestion.

Economical product
I use one Digestitol capsule before each meal that contains fat, protein or heavy carbs. It seems to work just as well for helping digest meals as does the more expensive digestive enzyme combinations.

I cannot go without this digestive enzyme. I use one after each meal and always have them in my purse when I go out. Great price!

I have tried other products that cost much more, but didn't do as well as Digestitol. The first time I ordered, I thought I might as well give it a try. I wouldn't want to be without it!

Great product
I don't usually write reviews- but digestitol is a product that i have been using consistently for almost a year now. Helps you to break down whatever food you are eating so that your body can absorb more of the nutrients. I am big into fitness and sports and lifting- so this is great because after a hard workout i need all the nutrients i can get- and i feel confident i will get what i need with a healthy diet and taking a digestitol pill before i eat.
Only inconvenience is you have to carry pills around with you. I just keep them loose in my pocket and take 1 before breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, and dinner.
Also- if you take any vitamins or mineral supplements- this will help your body absorb whatever supplements you are taking as well.
It's basically a win win. And for the price- you really really can't beat. it. Great product.

Wonderful!
This product contains all the natural ingredients recommended for absorption of nutrients. I use it in conjunction with body building products such as whey/casein proteins and PHs to ensure that they are being fully absorbed.

It Works
I bought it, used it, it works! I have recommended it and now a friend uses it. There may be better--but not at this price. I take one a day in the a.m.with breakfast and I'm good-to-go.

I think it's working but I don't know
I think this product is working but I'm not sure. With other Swanson products, there is usually a dramatic effect but I don't know if Digestitol is doing anything or not.

absorb more nutrients?
I take this because I think it does what it says. I used to just take bioperine, 5mg, but this includes that plus more aids, for barely any more money.
I don't have a way to measure the effect but I have read enough about bioperine alone to believe this is working as advertised.
