Horrible Tasting
My husband and I love plain natural coconut water and drink it regularly. We decided to try this product. What a disappointment! The water when this product is mixed in is brown. Neither one of us could take more than one sip of this because the taste was so bad. It doesn't even come close to the taste of real coconut water.

Not too keen on this.
This coconut water was not what I expected. It is a brownish color which I am not accustomed to. I wonder why it's brown? I think that turn me off somewhat immediately. And the taste is not that great either. But then, I'm not sure if the color of it made me biased before I tasted it and after that it was all down hill. If I hadn't looked at the color first, I might have liked it better.

It's growing on me
I have sipped fresh coconut water right out of the coconut, so when I tried this, I thought it tasted a little chemical-y. But the more I drank it, the more I liked it. Now I drink it during and after playing basketball. It gets me rehydrated quickly (I drink more of this than I would plain water.), and if it's replenishing electrolytes, etc., then all the better.

Great Product
I'm a person that can't stand the taste of bottled coconut water from the large companies (except for the awesome chocolate coco water) but I found this to be less revolting and somewhat tolerable when mixed according to the directions. Having said that, I'm still not a big fan of the taste, but I love to add it to my swanson chocolate grass fed protein shakes and also to my chocolate milk recovery drinks after working out. I highly reccomend this concentrate! My only issue is with the leaky cap that others have spoke of, but hopefully it will be fixed soon.

As I love coconut water I decided to purchase this product for convenience. I put it into my water bottle once a day as it makes a good change from just drinking plain water! It is a good product but I do find the coconut concentrate a little on the sweet side, so instead of one tablespoon of concentrate to 8 oz. of water I double the water and it seems to dilute the sweetness but still taste good.

Pretty good stuff
I bought this product on a whim & at first didn't like it much. The syrupyness really got to me. I didn't like the idea of all that sugar, but when mixed according to instruction its OK.
I use it in smoothies & will probably buy more because of the potassium content, the convenience and the cost. It has grown on me. I'm beginning to really like it. Yeh, its pretty good stuff!

I mix the coconut water with 8 ounces of coconut milk and drink it. Covers the taste which isn't so nice. I believe it is doing some good. Since I have only been taking it a couple of weeks I will have to wait and see. I will order it again.

this is a great product!
Coconut water concentrate is a great way to add A little something special to your protein shakes and smoothies!
Only 3 stars on convenience... The plastic bottle container needs a better lid. It needs an easy pour spout.

HORRIBLE!
I had been reading about the health benefits of coconut water and decided to try the Swanson Ultra
Coconut Water Concentrate.
OH MY GOODNESS!! It is the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. I literally gagged!!
Since this was my first experience tasting coconut water, I am not sure if that's the way it is supposed to taste or I received a bad batch.
I had tried coconut MILK (which has a thick, white consistency) so I was expecting the coconut water to be a thinner version of the milk. Instead, it was a dark gold color. It smelled NASTY!! and tasted even worse. (Nothing coconutty about it).
Swanson customer service was courteous and prompt in sending me a replacement, but the replacement was just as bad. I returned it and received a prompt refund.
Unfortunately, I can not recommend this product, however customer service was excellent! Thank you!

So convenient and tasty
I added this to my last order on an impulse and I'm so glad I did. I love coconut water but buying it at the grocery store is so expensive. This is a great value, is easy to measure and fits easily in my fridge. It tastes the same as coconut water just not as strongly (I made the suggested strength), which suits my tastes just fine.

What a great idea!
Excellent idea to have a concentrated coconut water product so it will last a while. I put this in my morning smoothies along with other fruits, nutrients, etc. Leave it to Swanson to come out with innovative new products that are much more reasonably priced than other stores.

Just Add a Beach
If you like coconut water, you may have noticed that allof those bottles you have to dispose of are made from concentrate. Dude! This is concentrate...no piles of bottle in your recycle bin! No artificial flavors, or sugar, and you can mix it with any other liquid. Great source of potassium. This is totally awesome! Dude, get some, and chill. Get it, Dude...chill! I drink some every day, and I'm not even a Dude!

Good Value But
As usual I am pleased with this Swanson product. I especially like that ther are no preservatives in it, so many coconut products have sulfites in them, even the some that claim they don't, I'm allergic to them so I know.Now the "but". The design of this bottle is terrible. The threads are too big or something.For no matter what I do It leaks and leaves a puddle in the fridge. I bought another product from a diiferent company,it came in the same style bottle and it leaks too, leaving a puddle in my cupboard. Your old brown bottles worked great.
As stated, good product but your going to lose some.

This product; Coconut Water Concentrate, is great..I used to buy Commercial Grade Coconut Water at ridiculous prices and I tasted no difference between this product and the Commercial grade Coconut Water..I will continue shopping for this product..

mix in smoothies
I agree the taste is a little different from the store bought kind but i do think its because of the added sugar they use in those. That being said i mix it with water and also my tart cherry concentrate i got from here too. But lately ive just been adding it to my smoothies and with all the fruit and veggies i use i cant even taste it in them. over all satisfied, i will buy again and yes ive told my friends!!

I read the other reviews, but I think this is wonderful.
I love the taste, I mix it with a little green tea and water . I do not like anything very sweet , so this works great for me. I had bought some coconut water in the grocery store and it was awful. I am so happy with the taste of this one, plus the convenience of a concentrate.

Poor Taste
I like drinking coconut water. When I saw this concentrate I thought I would give it a try. The price was reasonable. To my surprise the taste was terrible. This is the worst tasting coconut water I has ever had.
Maybe it was a bad batch. When mixed, it does not look like any coconut water I have purchased in the past. My wife said it looked like a urine sample. If I add about 3 to 4 drops of stevia, it is someone tolerable. I will probably never buy this product again.

Good product
This product is very convenient and the taste is comparable with canned coconut waters I've bought at the supermarket. I like the size and ease of pouring the bottle. I plan on repurchasing.

Awful!
I am a big fan of products but this product is tastes awful. Tastes nothing like coconut water.
I can't say that another coconut concentrate would be better because I am not going to waste more money trying to find out.

disappointed
This product did not taste like other coconut waters when mixed as instructed. It had a strong after taste. I have not used it since the first time. It might be OK in a recipe, but not just to enjoy as coconut water.

Great Product
I am so pleased that Swanson's developed this product. The coconut water out there on the market is expensive and some does not taste so good. The coconut concentrate is easy to use and great tasting. Thanks Swanson's for another wonderful product.

not a replacement for real coconut water
As far as I understand people buy coconut water for two main reasons: because it tastes good and because it's a good source of electrolytes, especially potassium. For some unknown reason, Swanson Ultra doesn't mention the amount of potassium and magnesium in the nutrition facts.
As far as taste goes, a drink made with the concentrate as instructions recommend tastes sugary, soapy, and isn't like coconut water at all.

Coconut Water Concentrate
This is a unique and excellent product. Many brands of coconut water claim no added sugar but indeed do contain it -so for those of us with blood sugar concerns, we lose out, big-time!
The concentrate has some ascorbic acid added and nothing else, so when reconstituted it is more like a fresh drinking coconut than any of the many brands of coconut water I have tasted.
The convenience of having a space-saving, non-breakable bottle in the fridge or for trips is really handy.
I thank Swanson's for this leading-edge product!
